Does this set fit the Audi RS3 and TT RS?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the 34mm configuration with 14mm top and lower O-rings, in a set of five, for the Audi RS3 and TT RS with the 2.5 liter five cylinder. Check the engine generation and that your car uses this injector length before ordering, and contact us if you are unsure.

Why are there no adapters on these injectors?

The 34mm ID2600-XDS is the short body version and is designed to seal with a 14mm O-ring at each end, so neither a top nor a bottom adapter is needed. That suits the compact fuel system layout Injector Dynamics specifies for the RS3 and TT RS.

Should I choose the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors or a smaller flow class?

Choose the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors for a big turbo 2.5 liter on E85 or methanol, where demand is highest. On gasoline, or with a modest turbo upgrade, the 1300 or 1750 class gives more pulse width at idle and still covers the power target.

Does the car need a new tune?

Yes. The engine management has to be rescaled for the flow, offset and short pulse behavior of the ID2600-XDS, using the characterization data Injector Dynamics publishes. Without it, the engine will run far too rich. Plan the injector change and the tune as a single job with your tuner.

What does the warranty cover?

Injector Dynamics warrants these injectors for one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, provided they run the correct fuel with proper filtration. The five are flow matched, so a single replacement is arranged through Injector Dynamics, which also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 5

Five cylinders, five injectors: this set of Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors is the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the Audi RS3 and TT RS with the 2.5L turbo five. Once that engine carries a much larger turbo and runs on ethanol or methanol, fuel volume becomes the limit, and 2600cc/min per injector is sized for exactly that build. On the factory turbo and pump gasoline the set is more than the car needs. The short 34mm body seals on 14mm O-rings at both ends with no adapters, and Dual Slope Matching keeps the five balanced in the short pulses at idle.

Configuration

This is the adapter-free 34mm version of the ID2600-XDS: a 14mm O-ring at the top seals directly in the rail and a 14mm O-ring seals the lower end. The final digit, 5, is the set count, one injector per cylinder of the 2.5L.

Features

Built with Bosch Motorsport around corrosion-resistant internals for liquid fuels
Matched by Dual Slope Matching so short pulse widths stay consistent from injector to injector
Rated for methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels over the long term

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no top adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm O-rings top and bottom (x5)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi RS3 and TT RS: 2.5L turbo five-cylinder

Notes

Electrical connection is USCAR; Injector Dynamics makes adapters for EV1, OBD2 Honda and 2012+ Honda plugs, sold separately, and Denso-wired engines use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Supplied without adapters; the 34mm body seals on 14mm O-rings at the top and lower end
Recalibration of the engine management is mandatory, working from the Injector Dynamics data for the ID2600-XDS

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
