Will the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors fit a 2015 or newer Audi R8?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this ten piece configuration for the 2015 and later R8 and for the Lamborghini Huracan, both of which take the short 34mm body with 14mm seals. Earlier R8 models are not listed for this part number, so confirm the model year first.

Why is there no top adapter on these injectors?

The 34mm body is the compact version of the ID2600-XDS, and its 14mm top O-ring seals directly in the fuel rail without an adapter. Longer 48mm and 60mm versions use adapters to suit other rail heights. On the R8 and Huracan, 34mm is the length Injector Dynamics specifies for the factory rails.

Is the ID2600-XDS suitable for E85 and methanol?

Yes. Injector Dynamics developed the 2600 with Bosch Motorsport specifically for liquid fuels and rates it for long term use on ethanol and methanol as well as all known hydrocarbon fuels. It is not rated for ether blends such as MTBE, ETBE or TAME, or for nitromethane, so check race fuel data sheets.

Does a V10 need new fuel tables after fitting these?

Yes. Each of the ten injectors flows far more than the factory part, and the ECU cannot know that on its own. Injector Dynamics publishes flow, offset and short pulse data for the 2600, including a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, and the calibration has to be rebuilt from it.

How are the ten injectors matched?

Injector Dynamics flow matches the set using Dual Slope Matching, which compares each injector in both the linear range and the non-linear short pulse range. That keeps cylinder to cylinder fueling even at idle. The set carries a one year warranty against manufacturer defects when run on correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 10

Ten of Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors make up this set, each rated at a nominal 2600cc/min and sized for the short 34mm bores Injector Dynamics specifies for the 2015-on Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracan. Both V10s are strong on their factory injectors, so this set only earns its place once the engine has been turbocharged and moved to E85 or methanol, where fuel demand climbs far past the stock fuel system. Dual Slope Matching keeps all ten injectors closely balanced at the short pulse widths of a V10 at idle.

Configuration

This is the 34mm length, the shortest ID2600-XDS body, with a 14mm O-ring at each end. Injector Dynamics also builds the 2600 in 48mm and 60mm lengths, so measure the injectors you are replacing before ordering a set of ten.

Features

Corrosion-resistant internals from a design developed with Bosch Motorsport
Roughly half again the flow of the ID1700x, and the largest injector Bosch supplies
Dual Slope Matching covers the non-linear low pulse range as well as the linear range

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no top adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm O-rings top and bottom (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi R8: 2015+
Lamborghini Huracan: 5.2L V10

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; engines wired with Denso, EV1 or OBD2 plugs need plug-and-play adapters, sold separately, and for Denso wiring see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine must be retuned for these injectors with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
