Do the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors fit a BF Falcon XR6 Turbo?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with the 14mm bottom adapter for the BA and BF Falcon XR6 Turbo. These injectors suit an XR6T running E85 or a larger turbo, and the factory calibration has to be updated with the Injector Dynamics data after fitting.

Is this set for the 12 valve or 24 valve VR6?

Injector Dynamics lists this set for the 12 valve VR6 in Audi and Volkswagen models. A 24 valve VR6 is not on the list for this configuration, so confirm what your engine needs before ordering. On a turbocharged 12 valve VR6, the set gives plenty of fuel for E85.

Does an XR6 Turbo or VR6 need a tune after fitting?

Yes. The engine computer works out fuel delivery from injector flow and offset, and six injectors at 1728cc per minute are far larger than factory. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data, including the 1169 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, for the tuner to load on the Falcon or VR6 before driving.

Should an XR6 Turbo use the 1300 or the 1750?

Pick by fuel demand. The ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute and was designed for alternative fuels, while the ID1750-XDS flows 1728cc per minute, and both are rated to 7 bar. A larger turbo on E85 that would run a 1300 out of headroom is where the 1750 fits the XR6T.

Which plug adapters suit a Falcon or VR6?

That depends on the factory plug. USCAR wiring connects directly, while Denso, EV1 and Honda OBD2 plugs need the matching Injector Dynamics plug and play adapter, sold separately. Check one injector connector on the Falcon or VR6 first, so six adapters of the right type can be ordered with the set.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this six-injector set carry a grey 14mm top adapter and a silver 14mm bottom adapter, the combination Injector Dynamics specifies for the 12-valve VR6 and the BA and BF Falcon XR6 Turbo. The XR6T’s turbo inline-six is where 1728cc/min per injector does its best work, on E85 or with a much larger turbo. A turbocharged 12-valve VR6 is the other good fit. Left on a naturally aspirated VR6, this set is far larger than the engine needs.

Configuration

The silver bottom adapter fits the lower end of the 60mm body and gives the 14mm lower seal these engines use, while the grey adapter sets the top at 14mm. The VR6 entries cover the 12-valve engine only.

Features

Silver 14mm bottom adapters and grey 14mm top adapters on six injectors
Successor to the ID1700, adding dynamic flow with no increase in minimum fuel mass
Offset published at 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (silver)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters and silver 14mm bottom adapters (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi: VR6 12-valve
Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo: BA and BF
Volkswagen: VR6 12-valve

Notes

Listed for the 12-valve VR6 only; confirm the configuration with Injector Dynamics before fitting a 24-valve engine
Wiring with Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda or 2012 and later Honda plugs needs an Injector Dynamics plug-and-play adapter to suit the USCAR connectors; for Denso plugs use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
