Do the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors fit a VW 1.8T?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with the 14mm bottom adapter for the Volkswagen and Audi 1.8T. A big turbo 1.8T on E85 is the build this flow class suits, and the engine management has to be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics data after fitting.

Will this set fit a 2006 to 2014 Miata?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists this 60mm configuration with the 14mm bottom adapter for the 2006 through 2014 Miata. On that car the set only makes sense with a turbocharger or supercharger, because a naturally aspirated engine cannot use 1728cc per minute per cylinder. Older Miatas use different configurations.

Will a turbo Miata or 1.8T idle well on gasoline with these?

Yes, with a proper calibration. Injector Dynamics added dynamic flow over the ID1700 without raising minimum fuel mass and improved cylinder balance at low pulsewidths, which is what keeps idle and light cruise steady when four large injectors run pump gasoline in a small turbo engine.

When is the ID2600-XDS a better pick for a 1.8T or 3S-GTE?

Only when fuel demand passes what four injectors at 1728cc per minute can supply at your rail pressure. The ID2600-XDS flows about 2600cc per minute and is rated to 9 bar, but it needs at least 11 volts and is not compatible with ethers or nitromethane. Below that point, the 1750 is the size to choose.

Is this set of four flow matched?

Yes. Injector Dynamics matches the four so each cylinder of the 1.8T, Miata or MR2 Turbo receives the same fuel at the same pulse width. The set has a one year warranty against manufacturer defects with correct fuel and proper filtration, and a single replacement comes from Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four have a grey 14mm top adapter and a 14mm bottom adapter, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the Audi and Volkswagen 1.8T, the supercharged Cobalt SS, the Ion Redline, the 2006-2014 Miata and the MR2 Turbo. At 1728cc/min per injector, the set is aimed at big-turbo 1.8T and 3S-GTE builds and at E85 conversions that need far more fuel volume. A stock 1.8T or a lightly modified Miata will not need this flow class. It suits the four-cylinder that has already been built for high boost.

Configuration

The bottom adapter is fitted to the lower end of the 60mm body and provides the 14mm lower seal for these engines. The Saturn Sky entry covers the non-turbo car only.

Features

14mm bottom adapters and grey 14mm top adapters on all four injectors
Rated for methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels
Offset published at 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters and 14mm bottom adapters (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi: 1.8L Turbo
Chevrolet Cobalt SS: supercharged
Mazda Miata: 2006-2014
Saturn: Ion Redline; Sky non-turbo
Toyota MR2 Turbo: 1990-1996 | 3S-GTE
Volkswagen: 1.8T

Notes

Injector Dynamics lists the Saturn Sky for the non-turbo car only, and the Miata entry covers 2006 to 2014
The injectors use USCAR plugs, so engines with Denso, EV1 or Honda OBD2 connectors need plug-and-play adapters, which are not included; the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter covers Denso wiring
Plan a tune alongside the install, since the calibration needs the published Injector Dynamics flow and offset data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
