Do the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit a Challenger SRT-8?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with the 14mm bottom adapter for the Challenger SRT-8, along with the Chrysler 300C SRT-8 and the Magnum SRT-8. The set of eight covers every cylinder of the HEMI V8. Any boost or fuel change still needs a matching fuel pump and a new calibration.

What is the black bottom adapter for?

It sits on the lower end of each injector and provides the 14mm lower seal the SRT-8 manifold expects. Injector Dynamics builds compact bodies that fit many engines and uses bottom adapters to match particular factory bores, so this set comes configured for these cars with nothing to swap.

Does an SRT-8 need a new tune with these injectors?

Yes. The SRT-8 engine computer meters fuel from injector flow and offset figures, and 1728cc per minute is far beyond the factory HEMI injector. Your tuner enters the Injector Dynamics characterization data, including the 1169 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, before the car is driven.

Can a supercharged SRT-8 run E85 on this set?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the 1750 for ethanol, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels. A blown HEMI on E85 burns a lot more fuel volume than on gasoline, so the in-tank pump and lines on the 300C, Challenger or Magnum need upgrading alongside the injectors.

If one of the eight fails, can I replace just that injector?

Yes, but through Injector Dynamics. The eight injectors in this SRT-8 set are flow matched, so Injector Dynamics supplies a single injector that fits the match. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, provided the injectors have seen correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set of eight carry a 14mm top and a black 14mm bottom adapter, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the Chrysler 300C SRT-8 and the Dodge Challenger and Magnum SRT-8. Each injector flows 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar on E10 certification fuel, a large step past the factory parts on the HEMI V8. That size makes sense once a supercharger, a turbo kit or E85 is on the plan. A naturally aspirated SRT-8 on pump gasoline will never use it, so a smaller flow class is the better call there.

Configuration

The black bottom adapter sits on the lower end of the compact 48mm body and carries the 14mm lower seal for the SRT-8 manifold. Check that your engine takes the 48mm length and the 14mm top before ordering, since the same flow class comes in other lengths.

Features

Black 14mm bottom adapters on all eight injectors
Rated for methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels
Successor to the ID1700, adding dynamic flow with no increase in minimum fuel mass

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
