Do the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit the 370Z as well as the GT-R?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this R35 spacer configuration for the Nissan GT-R, the Nissan 370Z and the Infiniti G37. On the naturally aspirated cars the set only makes sense with forced induction or ethanol, and every application needs a recalibration.

Is one set of six enough for a GT-R?

Yes. The GT-R engine is a V6, so one set of six replaces every injector, and the six are flow matched together to keep fueling even across both banks. If a single injector ever needs replacing, Injector Dynamics supplies one that keeps the match within the set.

Does a GT-R need retuning after this injector swap?

Yes. Injector flow and offset must be entered in the GT-R engine management before driving. Injector Dynamics rates the 1750 at 1728cc per minute with a 1169 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, and its published characterization data lets the tuner set all six correctly on the VR38.

When should a GT-R owner step up to the ID2600-XDS?

When fuel demand outgrows six injectors at 1728cc per minute at your rail pressure. The ID2600-XDS flows about 2600cc per minute and is rated to 9 bar, but needs at least 11 volts and is not compatible with ethers or nitromethane. If your target fits within the 1750, there is no need to move up.

What plug do these injectors use on a 370Z or G37?

USCAR. If the car has a different injector plug, an Injector Dynamics plug and play adapter fits between the factory wiring and each injector without splicing. Bulletproof Automotive carries the USCAR to Denso adapter; contact us for EV1 or Honda types, and allow six adapters for a 370Z, G37 or GT-R.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top, 14mm Lower O-Ring and R35 Spacer, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors for the Nissan GT-R come as a set of six with a 14mm top, a 14mm lower O-ring and the R35 lower spacer, and the same parts suit the Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37. A flow of 1728cc/min per injector at 3.0 bar gives a GT-R on E85 or larger turbos plenty of fuel headroom. For a 370Z or G37 that only applies with a supercharger or turbo kit, since the naturally aspirated engine is nowhere near this size.

Configuration

R35 in the part number marks the lower spacer Injector Dynamics uses for the GT-R, paired with a 14mm lower O-ring under the 48mm body. GT-Rs running V1 T1 fuel rails are listed by Injector Dynamics under a separate 60mm configuration, so check the rail first.

Features

GT-R lower spacer and 14mm lower O-ring on every injector
Improved pressure sensitivity compared with the ID1700
Flow matched as a set, with characterization data published for the tuner

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring with R35 lower spacer

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings with R35 lower spacers (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Infiniti G37
Nissan 370Z
Nissan GT-R: R35

Notes

GT-Rs fitted with V1 T1 fuel rails take a separate 60mm configuration; this set suits the rail type Injector Dynamics lists as standard
USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring needs plug-and-play adapters, sold separately; for Denso plugs see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
