Does this fit every B58?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this six injector configuration for the third generation B58, and earlier versions of the engine are not part of that listing. It is also listed for the FG Falcon XR6T. Confirm the engine generation with your tuner or dealer before ordering.

What does the black bottom adapter do on a B58 or Barra?

It is the 14mm bottom adapter that Injector Dynamics fits to the lower end of the 48mm body for these engines. On 48mm injectors it is black, and it comes installed. Together with the grey 14mm top adapter it matches the injector to the rail and intake.

Can the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors support an E85 Falcon XR6T?

Yes. The ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are rated for ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels, and six of them at 1728cc per minute give a turbo Barra a large fuel margin on E85. The fuel pump and calibration must also be upgraded for ethanol.

Will the injectors work without a tune?

No. The engine management must be given the flow, offset and short pulse data for the 1750, which Injector Dynamics publishes. Your tuner builds those values into the calibration so the engine meters fuel correctly from idle through full boost, on gasoline or ethanol.

How is a single failed injector replaced?

Through Injector Dynamics. The six injectors are flow matched as a set, so a single replacement is supplied by Injector Dynamics. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, provided the injectors run correct fuel with proper filtration, and cleaning and flow testing are offered in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this six-injector set have a grey 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the third-generation BMW B58 and the FG Ford Falcon XR6T. Both are turbocharged inline sixes where ethanol and bigger turbos push fuel demand well past stock. Each injector flows 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar; on a B58 or Barra kept at factory boost on gasoline the set would sit mostly unused.

Configuration

Each of the six 48mm bodies carries a grey 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter, installed before shipping. Injector Dynamics does not list earlier B58 versions for this part number, so check the engine generation first.

Features

Six 48mm injectors with grey 14mm tops and black 14mm bottom adapters
Nominal 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar on E10 certification fuel
Higher dynamic flow than the ID1700 without raising minimum fuel mass
USCAR connector on each injector

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset at 43.5 psi: 1169 microseconds at 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (black)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and bottom adapters fitted (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW: B58 Gen 3
Ford Falcon XR6T: FG

Notes

No plug adapters are supplied; Denso-wired engines need the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 adapters come from Injector Dynamics
Listed for the third-generation B58 only; confirm your engine generation before ordering
The calibration must be rebuilt with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
