Why does a V6 Accord set use the S2000 lower configuration?

Because it matches. Injector Dynamics specifies the same F20 lower end for these Honda and Acura V6 engines as for the early S2000, and the part number carries that code. The 11mm top adapter on the 48mm body completes the configuration for the factory rail.

Will this set fit a four cylinder Accord?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this six injector set for the 2003 to 2007 Accord V6, and a four cylinder engine needs a different count and configuration. The set is also listed for the 2002 to 2004 Odyssey and for the 2001 to 2003 Acura CL and TL.

Is a set of ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors too much for a supercharged J35?

No, provided the build is aimed at serious power or ethanol. Six ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors at 1728cc per minute leave headroom for E85, and minimum fuel mass is unchanged from the ID1700, so idle stays controllable. A mild bolt on build on gasoline would be better served by a smaller injector.

Will the ECU work with these injectors?

Yes, once it has been recalibrated. The ECU or standalone has to be told the flow rate, offset and short pulse behavior of the 1750, and Injector Dynamics publishes that characterization data for your tuner. Running the engine on the old calibration would leave fueling far off.

What does the warranty cover?

Injector Dynamics covers manufacturer defects for one year from the purchase date, conditional on the correct fuel and proper filtration. The six injectors are flow matched, so a single replacement is supplied by Injector Dynamics, and the company also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and S2000 Lower Configuration, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this six-injector set use the 11mm top and the S2000 lower configuration, which Injector Dynamics also lists for Honda and Acura V6 engines: the 2003-2007 Accord, the 2002-2004 Odyssey and the 2001-2003 Acura CL and TL. That makes it the set for a turbocharged or supercharged J-series V6, especially one switching to ethanol. At 1728cc/min each, six of these deliver far more fuel than a stock J-series needs, so a mild build on gasoline would be better off with a smaller flow class.

Configuration

Each 48mm injector has an 11mm top adapter and the F20 lower end, the same lower configuration Injector Dynamics uses on its early S2000 set. Six injectors cover one J-series V6.

Features

Six 48mm injectors with 11mm tops and the F20 lower configuration
Better balance between cylinders at low pulsewidths than the ID1700
Suitable for ethanol, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and gasoline
Characterization data published for calibration, including the 1169 microsecond offset

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset at 43.5 psi: 1169 microseconds at 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 11mm adapter
Lower: S2000 configuration (F20)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 11mm top adapters and S2000 lower configuration (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Acura CL: 2001-2003
Acura TL: 2001-2003
Honda Accord: 2003-2007
Honda Odyssey: 2002-2004

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted with no adapters included; Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and OBD2 or 2012+ Honda adapters come from Injector Dynamics
Six injectors for the V6 versions of these models only
An ECU recalibration with the Injector Dynamics characterization data is required before the car is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
