Does this set fit a 2013 to 2017 Viper?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this part number for the 2008 to 2010 Viper only. For the 2013 to 2017 car it lists a gold bottom adapter configuration in other flow classes, so the later Viper needs a different set. Earlier Vipers also use other configurations.

What is the black bottom adapter for?

It is the 14mm bottom adapter Injector Dynamics fits to the lower end of the 48mm body for the Viper intake, and on 48mm injectors it is black. The injectors arrive with it installed, so they go in as a complete assembly with the grey 14mm top adapter.

Can the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors support an E85 Viper?

Yes. The ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are rated for ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels at 1728cc per minute each, so ten of them leave a supercharged or turbocharged Viper room on E85. The pump and the calibration still have to be sized for that fuel.

Will the Viper ECU accept these without changes?

No. The ECU needs new injector data for the 1750, covering flow rate, offset and short pulse behavior, and Injector Dynamics publishes it for your tuner. Fitting ten larger injectors without that recalibration would leave the V10 badly over fueled from the first start.

What is the warranty on the set?

One year from purchase against manufacturer defects, as long as the injectors run correct fuel with proper filtration. The ten are flow matched, so Injector Dynamics supplies single replacements itself, and it offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona when a set needs checking.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors make up this ten-injector set for the 2008-2010 Dodge Viper, each with a grey 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter fitted. The Viper’s V10 is the only application Injector Dynamics lists for this configuration. At 1728cc/min per injector the set is sized for a supercharged or twin-turbo Viper, especially on ethanol, and it is excessive for a naturally aspirated car on gasoline.

Configuration

The black 14mm bottom adapter is fitted to the lower end of each 48mm body for the Viper intake, and the grey 14mm top adapter matches the rail. Ten injectors cover the V10.

Features

Ten 48mm injectors with grey 14mm tops and black 14mm bottom adapters
Rated for E85, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and gasoline
Higher dynamic flow than the ID1700 at the same minimum fuel mass
Flow matched as a set of ten

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset at 43.5 psi: 1169 microseconds at 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (black)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and bottom adapters fitted (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Dodge Viper: 2008-2010

Notes

The injectors are USCAR; Denso-plug wiring needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and other plug styles need the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
The black 14mm bottom adapters come fitted and stay on the injectors for the Viper application
A calibration built on the Injector Dynamics data for the 1750 is required before driving

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
