Do these fit both the RS3 and the TT RS?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists this five injector configuration for the Audi RS3 and TT RS, which share the five cylinder turbo engine, and the set gives one injector per cylinder. Model years are not separated in the listing, so compare a factory injector for length and seal size before you order.

Will the ID1750-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors work with a flex fuel setup?

Yes. The ID1750-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors are compatible with ethanol, methanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels, so any blend from pump gasoline to E85 is within their rating. The ECU still needs a calibration that adjusts fueling for the ethanol content the car is running at the time.

Why choose the 1750 over the ID1300-XDS for an RS3?

Pick by fuel demand. The ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute and suits moderate ethanol builds. The 1750 is rated at 1728cc per minute with no increase in minimum fuel mass over its predecessor, so it fits larger turbo upgrades on E85 while keeping idle control.

Is a tune required after installing these injectors?

Yes. A 1728cc per minute injector changes the fuel the ECU delivers at every pulse width, so the calibration must be rebuilt with the Injector Dynamics characterization data. Your tuner sets the flow rate, offset and short pulse values for the 1750 before the car goes back on the road.

Can I buy a single replacement injector later?

Yes. Sets are flow matched, so a single replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics rather than from retail stock. The warranty runs one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, as long as the injectors see the correct fuel and proper filtration, and a cleaning and flow test service is offered in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 5

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors come here as a set of five for the Audi RS3 and TT RS, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for those five-cylinder turbo cars. The short 34mm body seals on a 14mm O-ring at each end, with no top adapter. At 1728cc/min per injector on E10 certification fuel, the set is aimed at owners stepping up to a larger turbocharger or blending ethanol, and it is wasted on a car that keeps its factory turbo and pump fuel.

Configuration

Five injectors, one per cylinder, each on the 34mm body with 14mm top and lower O-rings. The 1750 holds its minimum fuel mass at the ID1700 level while adding dynamic flow, which helps a big-turbo five-cylinder idle cleanly.

Features

Set of five for the RS3 and TT RS five-cylinder
Better cylinder-to-cylinder balance at low pulsewidths than the ID1700
Compatible with ethanol, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and hydrocarbon fuels
Published offset of 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset at 43.5 psi: 1169 microseconds at 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm O-rings fitted (x5)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi: RS3 and TT RS

Notes

Wiring with Denso plugs needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter; USCAR to EV1 and USCAR to OBD2 adapters are also made by Injector Dynamics but are not stocked here
Listed by Injector Dynamics for the RS3 and TT RS; confirm your injectors are the 34mm length with 14mm seals before ordering
Plan for a retune before driving, built on the Injector Dynamics data for the 1750

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
