Can the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors run methanol in a custom eight injector system?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors for all known fuels and designed the 1300 with alcohol fuels in mind. Methanol needs far more volume than gasoline for the same power, so confirm eight injectors at 1335cc per minute meet your target, and maintain proper filtration.

Will this set fit my LS3?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the LS3, LS7, L76, L92 and L99 with a 34mm injector, 14mm top and 15mm lower O-ring, and the LS2 with a 48mm version. This 60mm set has no published vehicle list, so it is for fuel systems built around the longer body with a 15mm lower bore.

Does a custom 15mm system need a new calibration?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS changes the fuel delivered per pulse and has its own offset and short pulse characteristics, so any engine management running it must be set up with the Injector Dynamics characterization data. Complete the calibration before the engine sees boost or full throttle.

How do I confirm this configuration fits my engine?

Measure the injectors you are removing: overall length should match the 60mm body, the top seal should be 14mm and the lower seal 15mm. Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this part number, so all three measurements need to match before you order a set of eight.

Will an engine with this set idle well on gasoline?

Yes, with an accurate calibration. Injector Dynamics kept the minimum fuel mass of the ID1300-XDS compatible with gasoline, so idle and cruise stay well mannered though the injector targets alternative fuels. Correct short pulse data in the tune keeps idle fueling steady.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a purple 14mm top and an orange 15mm lower O-ring come eight to this set, a combination Injector Dynamics sells without a published vehicle list. It fits fuel systems that take a 60mm injector with a 15mm lower bore, unlike the 14mm lower seal on most of the 60mm applications Injector Dynamics lists. At 1335cc/min per injector at 3.0 bar on iso-octane, and with stainless internals built for alcohol fuels, the set suits a boosted eight-cylinder on E85. Before ordering, confirm that your engine really calls for a 15mm lower seal on the 60mm body.

Configuration

15 in the part number is the 15mm lower O-ring, colored orange. The 34mm and 48mm versions with the same lower seal are the ones Injector Dynamics lists for the LS3 family and the LS2, so this 60mm version is for fuel systems built around the longer body.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 8
All-stainless internals, once unique among performance injectors
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Purple 14mm top adapter and orange 15mm lower O-ring on the 60mm body

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with purple 14mm top adapters and orange 15mm lower O-rings (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a 15mm lower O-ring.

Notes

The connectors are USCAR and no adapters are included; Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 and OBD2 adapters exist but are not listed here
The engine management must be recalibrated for the new flow and offset data after fitting
Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this part number; LS2 and LS3 engines are listed with 48mm and 34mm sets

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
