Do the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors suit a flex fuel VR6 or XR6T?

Yes. Injector Dynamics designed the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors for alternative fuels and gave them a minimum fuel mass that suits gasoline, so a flex fuel VR6 or XR6T can run pump gas or E85 with a steady idle. The tune needs an ethanol content sensor and the Injector Dynamics data.

Will this set fit a 24-valve VR6?

Not confirmed. Injector Dynamics lists this six injector configuration for the 12-valve VR6 in Audi and Volkswagen models. The 24-valve engine does not appear against this part number in its table, so confirm fitment with Injector Dynamics before ordering for a later VR6.

Must the VR6 or XR6T be recalibrated?

Yes. Six injectors at 1335cc per minute change the fuel delivered on every pulse, and the ID1300-XDS has its own offset and short pulse traits. Your tuner should load the Injector Dynamics characterization data and finish the calibration before the engine sees boost.

Does my BF Falcon XR6T take this set?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the BA and BF Falcon XR6T with this 60mm body, 14mm top and 14mm bottom adapter, in a set of six. The FG XR6T takes the shorter 48mm version, so the series of the car decides which set to order.

Will a VR6 lose drivability with these injectors?

No, not with a proper tune. The ID1300-XDS keeps a gasoline compatible minimum fuel mass, so light throttle and cruise on a VR6 or XR6T stay close to stock. Drivability problems after big injector swaps usually come from missing offset or short pulse data, which Injector Dynamics supplies.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors make up this set of six with a grey 14mm top and a silver 14mm bottom adapter, as Injector Dynamics lists for the 12-valve VR6 in Audi and Volkswagen models and for the BA and BF Ford Falcon XR6T. A turbocharged VR6, or an XR6T turning up the boost on E85, is the build this set suits at 1335cc/min per injector on iso-octane. Injector Dynamics designed the 1300 for alternative fuels with stainless internals and gave it a minimum fuel mass that idles well on gasoline. A naturally aspirated VR6 on pump fuel has no use for this flow.

Configuration

The Falcon XR6T is split by series: the BA and BF take this 60mm set, while the FG takes a 48mm set with the same top and bottom adapter sizes. The 12-valve VR6 is listed for both Audi and Volkswagen.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 6
All-stainless internals, once unique among performance injectors
Minimum fuel mass suited to gasoline for good idle and cruise
Grey 14mm top and silver 14mm bottom adapter on all six injectors

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (silver)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters and silver 14mm bottom adapters (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi and Volkswagen: VR6 12-valve
Ford Falcon XR6T: BA and BF

Notes

The connectors are USCAR and no adapters are included; Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 and OBD2 adapters exist but are not listed here
The engine management must be recalibrated for the new flow and offset data after fitting
The FG Falcon XR6T is listed with a 48mm set rather than this 60mm one

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
