Can the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors run E85 in a turbo four-cylinder?

Yes. Injector Dynamics designed the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors around alternative fuels and rates them for all known fuels, with stainless internals. A turbocharged SR20DET, 3S-GTE or Focus on E85 needs roughly a third more fuel than on gasoline for the same power, so plan the pump around it.

Which Focus models does this set cover?

Injector Dynamics lists the Focus ZX3, Focus SVT and Focus RS for this four injector configuration, with a 60mm body, 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring. The table does not separate Focus RS generations, so confirm your engine uses port injectors with this layout before ordering.

What information does my tuner need for this four injector set?

Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1300-XDS, listing flow rate, offset and short pulse width behavior. Entering it lets the engine computer fuel these four-cylinder applications accurately at idle and light load as well as at full boost, instead of relying on estimated offsets.

Will this set fit a 2010 Genesis 2.0T?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 2013-2014 Genesis 2.0T for this 60mm configuration and the 2009-2012 car for a 48mm set with the R35 lower spacer. Check the model year before ordering, since the earlier and later cars take different injector lengths.

Will a turbo four idle cleanly on gasoline with these?

Yes, with a proper calibration. Injector Dynamics gave the ID1300-XDS a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline, so idle and cruise remain well behaved even though the injector targets alternative fuels. Correct short pulse data in the tune keeps idle fueling consistent.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four pair a purple 14mm top with a 14mm lower O-ring, and Injector Dynamics lists the combination for four-cylinders as varied as the E30 M3, the Ford Focus RS and the 2013-2014 Genesis 2.0T. At 1335cc/min each on iso-octane, the set belongs on a turbocharged four running E85 or methanol. The minimum fuel mass Injector Dynamics chose for gasoline keeps idle steady when the tank holds pump fuel. On a naturally aspirated Focus ZX3 or G20 it is more fuel than the engine could ask for.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 4
Minimum fuel mass suited to gasoline for good idle and cruise
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Purple 14mm top adapter with a 14mm lower O-ring on the 60mm body

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with purple 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW M3: E30 | 1988-1991
Ford: Focus RS, Focus SVT, Focus ZX3, Mustang SVO
Hyundai Genesis: 2013-2014 | 2.0T
Infiniti G20: 1991-1996 and 1999-2002 | 14mm top version
Nissan: 240SX S13, S14 and S15; SR20DET FWD | 14mm top version
Toyota Celica All-Trac: 1989-1999 | 3S-GTE, 14mm top version

Notes

The connectors are USCAR and no adapters are included; Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 and OBD2 adapters exist but are not listed here
Plan an ECU recalibration using the published Injector Dynamics characterization data
This is the 14mm-top version; the Infiniti, Nissan and Toyota cars listed here also have an 11mm-top Injector Dynamics set

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
