Which Honda and Acura models use this configuration?

Injector Dynamics lists the 2002 to 2005 Civic Si, the 2006 to 2011 Civic, the 2006 to 2009 S2000, the 2002 to 2009 RSX and the 2004 to 2010 TSX. The 2012 to 2015 Civic Si has its own application coded set, and the early S2000 uses a different lower configuration.

What connector adapters might my car need?

These injectors use USCAR plugs, so the SRT-4, Sentra and Honda models need plug and play adapters wherever the factory wiring has Denso, EV1 or OBD2 style connectors. Injector Dynamics sells all three adapter types separately. Check the plug before installation day so the right adapters are on hand.

Can the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fuel a turbocharged Honda on E85?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels, and at about 1335cc per minute each they give a turbocharged four cylinder room for ethanol, which needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline. The pump, lines and calibration must be built for the same target.

Do I need to recalibrate after fitting?

Yes. Flow, offset and short pulse behavior all differ from the factory injectors, so the engine management must be updated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before driving. On these four cylinder cars the change usually comes with a boost or fuel upgrade, and the tuner can calibrate everything in one visit.

Is a single injector available if one fails?

Yes, through Injector Dynamics, which supplies singles for its flow matched sets so the match is kept. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, provided the correct fuel and proper filtration are used. Its Arizona facility also cleans, inspects and flow tests injectors.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four pair a grey 14mm top adapter with a 14mm lower O-ring, a layout Injector Dynamics lists for a long run of four-cylinder cars, from 2000s Hondas and Acuras to the Neon and Caliber SRT-4 and the Sentra SE-R Spec V. At 1335cc/min each, the set targets turbocharged and supercharged fours and E85 conversions. Its minimum fuel mass stays compatible with gasoline, so a street car keeps a clean idle after tuning. Naturally aspirated engines with intake and exhaust work will not need this much fuel.

Configuration

This is the most common 48mm layout in the ID1300-XDS range, a fitted grey 14mm top adapter with a 14mm lower O-ring. The 2000-2005 S2000 uses a different lower configuration, while the 2006-2009 car is listed here.

Features

Rated for every known fuel and designed specifically around alternative fuels such as E85 and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
Flow matched as a set of four, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters fitted (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Acura RSX: 2002-2009
Acura TSX: 2004-2010
Dodge: Caliber SRT-4, Neon SRT-4
Honda Civic: 2006-2011; Civic Si 2002-2005
Honda S2000: 2006-2009
Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V: 2000-2006

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted, so EV1, OBD2 or Denso wiring needs adapters sold separately; for Denso plugs see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Plan on a tune, since the ECU needs the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data loaded after installation

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
