Which vehicles is the ten-injector 48mm set listed for?

None specifically. Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration. It suits any fuel system built for a 48mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, such as a custom ten injector setup. Compare your existing injectors before ordering.

Will these fit a Dodge Viper?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 2008 to 2010 Viper with a 48mm set that uses a 14mm bottom adapter, and the 2013 to 2017 Viper with a gold bottom adapter. This set has a plain 14mm lower O-ring, so check the Viper configurations before choosing.

Can the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors run on methanol?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are compatible with all known fuels and were designed specifically with alternative fuels in mind. Methanol needs far more volume than gasoline for the same power, so confirm pump and line capacity and the injector duty cycle with your tuner before relying on this set for a methanol build.

How should a custom build be calibrated for these?

Start by entering the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1300-XDS, which covers flow, offset and short pulse behavior, into the engine management. With the injector model correct, the tuner can set fuel tables for the target fuel and boost. Skipping that step makes idle and transient fueling unpredictable.

What warranty applies to a set of ten?

The same as every Injector Dynamics set: one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, provided the correct fuel and proper filtration are used. All ten injectors are flow matched, so a single replacement is supplied by Injector Dynamics, which also runs a cleaning, inspection and flow test service in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in a set of ten use a grey 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring, for V10 or custom ten-injector fuel systems built around the 48mm body. Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this exact configuration, so it is aimed at builders who have already measured their rail and manifold. Each injector flows 1335cc/min, and the design favors alternative fuels, so the natural home is a boosted or ethanol engine. Gasoline idle stays clean, though on a mild engine most of that capacity would never be called on.

Configuration

The 48mm body sits between the 34mm and 60mm lengths in the ID1300-XDS range. On this set the grey 14mm top adapter comes fitted, and a 14mm O-ring seals the lower end, so match both seals and the body length before ordering.

Features

Compatible with all known fuels, with a design aimed at ethanol and methanol
Gasoline-compatible minimum fuel mass, so part-throttle fueling stays controllable
All-stainless internal construction, a first among performance injectors when the 1300 was introduced
Flow matched as a set of ten, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters fitted (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 48mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring.

Notes

Wiring with Denso plugs needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter or an equivalent, because every injector here has a USCAR connector
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the car is driven
No vehicle list is published for this set; the Viper is listed with bottom-adapter versions of the 48mm set of ten

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
