Does this set fit the McLaren 720S?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 720S and Senna with a sixteen injector set in this configuration. This set of eight is listed for the MP4-12C, 570S, 600LT, 650S, 675LT and P1. Confirm your model against those lists, since the sixteen injector version is sold separately.

Are any adapters needed to install these?

No mechanical adapters are needed. The 34mm body seals directly in the rail on its 14mm top O-ring, and the 14mm lower O-ring seats in the manifold. The USCAR connector suits USCAR wiring; other plug types need Injector Dynamics plug and play adapters, which are sold separately.

Will the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors work on E85 in a 650S?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels and are compatible with all known fuels, E85 included. Ethanol calls for about a third more fuel volume than gasoline, so the fuel pump and calibration must be planned together. The tuner should load the Injector Dynamics data before the first drive.

What tuning work comes with an injector upgrade?

At minimum, the injector flow, offset and short pulse data must be replaced with the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1300-XDS. If the upgrade comes with more boost or a fuel change, the fuel and ignition tables need retuning as well, ideally in one session.

Does the warranty still apply on E85?

Yes, provided the system has proper filtration. Injector Dynamics covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, and since the ID1300-XDS is compatible with all known fuels, E85 is covered on the same terms. Single replacements for the matched set come from Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors fill out this set of eight for the McLaren V8 cars Injector Dynamics lists in this configuration, including the MP4-12C, 570S, 650S, 675LT, 600LT and P1. Each short 34mm body seals with 14mm O-rings at both ends and flows 1335cc/min, a reserve that a car with upgraded turbochargers or an ethanol map can put to use. The 1300 was designed for alternative fuels, yet it idles cleanly on gasoline because of its low minimum fuel mass. Kept at factory power, these cars do not need it.

Configuration

There is no top adapter on the 34mm length; the 14mm top O-ring fits directly into the rail and a 14mm lower O-ring seals the tip. The eight injectors are flow matched as one set so both banks receive equal fuel.

Features

Compatible with all known fuels, with a design aimed at ethanol and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
Rated to 7.0 bar differential fuel pressure
Flow matched as a set of eight, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and lower O-rings (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

McLaren: MP4-12C, 570S, 600LT, 650S, 675LT, P1

Notes

Each injector carries a USCAR connector and no adapters are included; Denso, EV1 or Honda OBD2 wiring needs plug-and-play adapters, such as the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter for Denso plugs
Fueling must be recalibrated for these injectors using the published Injector Dynamics characterization data
The McLaren 720S and Senna are listed with a sixteen-injector set, so this set of eight does not fit them

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
