What engines use a 34mm injector with a 15mm lower O-ring?

Injector Dynamics lists the 15mm lower O-ring mainly on eight cylinder GM engines, and it publishes no vehicle list for this four injector set. It is intended for fuel systems already built for this seal combination, such as a custom intake manifold. Measure the lower bore and compare it with your current injectors before ordering.

How do I tell a 14mm lower O-ring from a 15mm one?

Measure the lower bore in the manifold or the outside diameter of the current lower seal. Injector Dynamics colors its 15mm lower O-ring orange, which makes it easy to spot on an existing Injector Dynamics injector. A seal one size off will not seat and seal properly, so check before ordering.

Are the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors suitable for a turbocharged four-cylinder on E85?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors were designed specifically for alternative fuels and run on all known fuels. At 1335cc per minute each they give a turbocharged four cylinder generous capacity for ethanol, as long as the fuel pump keeps up and the calibration uses the Injector Dynamics characterization data.

Will I need to retune for these injectors?

Yes. Any change of injector alters the flow, offset and short pulse values the engine management uses, and these differ greatly from a typical stock part. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the ID1300-XDS. On a custom build the tuner usually enters it during the first calibration session.

How are replacements handled for a matched set?

Through Injector Dynamics, which keeps the flow match when supplying a single injector. Manufacturer defects are covered for one year from purchase, with correct fuel and proper filtration a condition. Injector Dynamics can also clean, inspect and flow test the set in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Rings, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four pair a 14mm top O-ring with a 15mm lower O-ring on the short 34mm body, for four-cylinder fuel systems built around that seal combination. Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this exact set, so it suits custom manifolds and rails where the builder already knows the dimensions. Each injector flows 1335cc/min and was designed for alternative fuels, which points it at turbocharged or ethanol four-cylinder builds. A mild engine on pump fuel will not need this much flow.

Configuration

The 15mm lower O-ring, orange on Injector Dynamics injectors, is larger than the 14mm lower seal used on most of the 34mm range. With no top adapter, the 14mm top O-ring seals straight into the rail. Measure both bores before ordering.

Features

Rated for every known fuel and designed specifically around alternative fuels such as E85 and methanol
Gasoline-compatible minimum fuel mass, so part-throttle fueling stays controllable
Flow matched as a set of four, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no adapter
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and 15mm lower O-rings (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 34mm injector with a 14mm top O-ring and a 15mm lower O-ring.

Notes

The injectors use USCAR plugs; for factory Denso connectors add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, while EV1 and OBD2 adapters are available from Injector Dynamics
Book the calibration with the install, because the ECU cannot run these injectors correctly on factory injector data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
