Do the R8 and Huracan use the same configuration?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists this 34mm set of ten, with 14mm top and 14mm lower O-rings, for both the 2015 and later Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracan. Both cars use a V10, so one set covers every cylinder. If the fuel system has already been modified, compare the existing injectors before ordering.

Do these 34mm injectors need adapters to fit?

No. The 34mm body has no top adapter; its 14mm top O-ring seals straight into the rail, and the 14mm lower O-ring seats in the manifold. Electrically, the USCAR connector needs a plug and play adapter only if your wiring uses a different plug, and those adapters are sold separately.

Will the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors handle E85 on a boosted V10?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels and are compatible with all known fuels. With ten injectors at about 1335cc per minute each there is plenty of capacity for ethanol under boost, but pump and line capacity must match, and the calibration needs the Injector Dynamics data.

Do these injectors require a new tune?

Yes. Swapping injectors changes the flow, offset and short pulse figures the engine management relies on. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the ID1300-XDS, and the calibration has to be rebuilt around it, ideally in the same session as any boost or fuel change.

Can these injectors be serviced later on?

Yes. Injector Dynamics runs a cleaning, inspection and flow test service in Arizona. In the first year, manufacturer defects are covered by its warranty, provided the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration, and single replacements keep the flow match.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this set of ten suit V10 engines that take a short 34mm injector with 14mm O-rings top and bottom, and Injector Dynamics lists the configuration for the 2015-on Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracan. Each injector flows 1335cc/min, enough fuel for a twin-turbo conversion or an ethanol blend on these engines. The ID1300-XDS was designed for alternative fuels, but its minimum fuel mass works with gasoline, so idle and cruise can stay clean once calibrated. For a stock or lightly modified V10 on pump fuel, this set is unnecessary.

Configuration

The 34mm body has no top adapter, so the 14mm top O-ring seals directly in the rail and a 14mm O-ring seals the lower end. Ten injectors make a complete set for the V10 in both the R8 and the Huracan.

Features

Rated for every known fuel and designed specifically around alternative fuels such as E85 and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
Stainless internals throughout; at launch it was the only performance injector built that way
Flow matched as a set of ten, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and lower O-rings (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi R8: 2015+ | V10
Lamborghini Huracan: V10

Notes

Each injector carries a USCAR connector and no adapters are included; Denso, EV1 or Honda OBD2 wiring needs plug-and-play adapters, such as the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter for Denso plugs
Fueling must be recalibrated for these injectors using the published Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
