Which engines take the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a 15mm lower O-ring?

Injector Dynamics does not list vehicles for this part number. It fits fuel systems designed for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a 15mm lower seal. Measure the lower O-ring on your current injectors; if it is 15mm and the length matches, this set fits.

Can I swap the 15mm lower O-ring for a 14mm one?

Injector Dynamics sells the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a 14mm lower O-ring as a separate part number, and that is the cleaner route. Ordering the configuration that matches your engine keeps the seal Injector Dynamics specifies and avoids guessing at O-ring sizes.

What calibration data is available for these injectors?

Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the ID1050-XDS covering flow, offset and short pulse behavior. Your tuner enters it into the engine management so this 15mm lower O-ring set delivers accurate fuel from idle to full load. Without it, the calibration relies on estimates.

Will a V8 idle properly on gasoline with this set?

Yes, with a proper calibration. The ID1050-XDS was designed to keep the low-flow control of the ID1000 while adding about five percent more flow, so small pulse widths at idle and cruise stay stable. If idle quality drops after fitting, revisit the calibration data first.

Can Injector Dynamics clean and test this set?

Yes. Injector Dynamics provides a cleaning, inspection and flow test service in Arizona. Manufacturer defects are covered for one year from purchase when the correct fuel and proper filtration have been used, and single replacements for this matched set of eight come from Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-piece set combine a 14mm top adapter with an orange 15mm lower O-ring, a less common seal size that rules out most of the 60mm V8 applications. Choose it when your engine’s lower bore takes a 15mm seal and the fuel demand has outgrown the original injectors, usually through boost or E85. At 1065cc/min per cylinder and a 10 bar pressure rating, the set has plenty in reserve for a street V8. For an engine on its factory power level, it is far larger than required.

Configuration

The 15mm lower O-ring is wider than the 14mm seal used on the common 60mm sets, and fitting the wrong one risks a vacuum leak at the manifold. Measure the existing lower seal before ordering.

Features

Corrosion-resistant internals rated for gasoline, ethanol, methanol and every other known fuel
Stronger magnetic circuit that keeps operation stable up to 10 bar differential pressure
Revised internal flow path adds about five percent over the ID1000 without giving up low-flow control
Orange 15mm lower O-ring fitted for 15mm lower bores

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 15mm lower O-rings fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a 15mm lower O-ring.

Notes

Engines with USCAR injector plugs connect directly, while Denso, EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs adapters that are not in the box; for Denso, see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with this seal pairing; confirm the lower bore size first
Fitting these injectors requires a retune, with the Injector Dynamics characterization data loaded into the engine management

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
