Do the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors fit a supercharged FJ Cruiser?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists this configuration for the FJ Cruiser, 4Runner and Tundra. A supercharger kit raises fuel demand past the factory injectors, and six of these at 1065cc per minute give a large margin. Connector adapters may be needed depending on the plugs.

How do I know if my Skyline GT-R needs the 14mm top?

Check the top of an existing injector where it meets the fuel rail. Injector Dynamics lists the GT-R in both sizes; this set is the 14mm top version of the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors, and the 11mm version is 1050.60.11.D.6.

Can a supercharged FJ Cruiser or RB26 run these on a piggyback?

No. Six 1065cc per minute injectors need a full recalibration, not a piggyback correction or the stock tune. The calibration should use the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data for the ID1050-XDS so fueling stays accurate from idle to full boost.

What connector should I expect on these injectors?

USCAR, fitted to every injector in the set. Engines with USCAR injector plugs connect directly. If your FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, Tundra or Skyline still has Denso style plugs, add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso adapters, sold separately, and other plug styles need their own adapters.

Are these six injectors matched to each other?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches the six, so every cylinder gets the same fuel at a given pulse width. A single replacement therefore comes through Injector Dynamics. The warranty lasts one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, provided the correct fuel and proper filtration are used.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Denso Lower Cushion, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors here pair purple 14mm tops with Denso lower cushions, a six-piece set listed for the R32, R33 and R34 Skyline GT-R with a 14mm rail and for the Toyota FJ Cruiser, 4Runner and Tundra. Two very different owners end up here: the RB26 tuner moving to bigger turbos or ethanol, and the truck owner adding a supercharger. In both cases 1065cc/min per injector gives a wide fuel margin. On a stock Toyota V6 the set would be oversized for no benefit.

Configuration

The Denso lower cushion seats the injector as the original Denso part did, and the purple 14mm top suits 14mm rail bores. The Skyline GT-R is also listed with an 11mm top, set 1050.60.11.D.6.

Features

Stronger magnetic circuit that keeps operation stable up to 10 bar differential pressure
Revised internal flow path adds about five percent over the ID1000 without giving up low-flow control
Replaceable inlet filter for service life on less than perfect fuel
Denso lower cushions and purple 14mm tops fitted

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: Denso cushion

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and Denso lower cushions fitted (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Nissan Skyline GT-R: R32 / R33 / R34 | 14mm top version
Toyota: FJ Cruiser; 4Runner; Tundra

Notes

No connector adapters are included; if your injector plugs are Denso, add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
Skyline GT-R rails take an 11mm or a 14mm top; this set is for the 14mm version
A tune is required after installation; the Injector Dynamics data covers flow, offset and short pulse behavior

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
