Do I need the 11mm or 14mm top for my Supra?

Match the injectors in the car. Injector Dynamics lists the 1993 to 1998 Supra Turbo and the 300ZX Twin Turbo in both 11mm and 14mm top versions. This set uses the blue 11mm top; if your rail takes a 14mm top, order 1050.60.14.14.6 instead.

Are the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors enough for a big turbo 2JZ?

On gasoline, yes for most single turbo street builds, since six ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors supply far more fuel than the factory parts. On E85 the demand rises by about a third, so a high power ethanol 2JZ may need the ID1300-XDS or a larger flow class.

Can I keep my existing Supra or 300ZX tune?

No. A tune written for factory injectors will badly overfuel six 1065cc per minute injectors. The calibration has to be updated with the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data for the ID1050-XDS, whether the car runs a standalone system or a reflashed factory computer.

What plugs do these injectors need on a Supra or 300ZX?

USCAR plugs. If your car still has Denso style injector plugs, add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso adapters, sold separately; if it has been rewired with USCAR plugs, the injectors connect directly. EV1 or OBD2 plugs need their own Injector Dynamics adapters.

Are all six injectors matched for a 2JZ-GTE?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches the six as a set, which keeps fueling even across the cylinders of a 2JZ-GTE or a 300ZX Twin Turbo. Because of that matching, a single replacement comes through Injector Dynamics. The warranty runs one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, given correct fuel and proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with blue 11mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings are the six-piece set for the 1993-1998 Supra Turbo and the 1990-1996 300ZX Twin Turbo where the fuel rail takes an 11mm top. Both engines respond well to more boost, and the factory injectors run out early once a larger turbo or E85 arrives; 1065cc/min each covers a big single-turbo 2JZ on gasoline or a mid-range ethanol build. For a stock-turbo car keeping its original tune, the set is more than the engine will use.

Configuration

Injector Dynamics lists both cars in two versions, one for rails taking an 11mm top and one for 14mm. This is the 11mm version; the 14mm equivalent is part number 1050.60.14.14.6. Check the top of a factory injector before ordering.

Features

Replaceable inlet filter for service life on less than perfect fuel
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications in its lengths and seal options
Characterization data published by Injector Dynamics for an accurate calibration
Blue 11mm top adapters fitted for 11mm fuel rail bores

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm adapter (blue)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 11mm top adapters fitted (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo: 1990-1996 | 11mm top version
Toyota Supra Turbo: 1993-1998 | 2JZ-GTE, 11mm top version

Notes

No connector adapters are included; if your injector plugs are Denso, add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
Supra and 300ZX fuel systems come in 11mm and 14mm top versions; this set is for the 11mm version
A tune is required after installation; the Injector Dynamics data covers flow, offset and short pulse behavior

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
