Do the ID1050-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit the Gallardo V10?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ten injector set with the GT-R lower spacer for the 2004 to 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo. Ten matched injectors at 1065cc per minute each give a boosted or ethanol fueled Gallardo far more fuel than the factory system provides.

Why is a GT-R spacer used on a Lamborghini?

Both engines seat a 48mm injector with a 14mm lower O-ring at a height that needs a spacer under the body. Injector Dynamics developed the spacer for the Nissan GT-R and uses it wherever that geometry is needed, which is why the ID1050-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors for the Gallardo carry the R35 code.

Does a Gallardo need a new calibration with these?

Yes. Ten injectors at 1065cc per minute put far more fuel through each opening than the factory V10 injectors, so the engine management must be recalibrated. The tuner works from the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data for the ID1050-XDS to keep idle and full load accurate.

How do I choose between the ID1050-XDS and ID1300-XDS for a Gallardo?

Compare fuel demand and pressure. The ID1050-XDS flows 1065cc per minute and is rated to 10 bar of differential pressure, while the ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute at a 7 bar rating and was designed around alternative fuels. Choose the 1050 when ten of them cover your target.

How long is the warranty on the Gallardo set?

One year from purchase against manufacturer defects, on condition that the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration. All ten are flow matched, so a replacement for any single injector comes through Injector Dynamics, and its Arizona facility also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and GT-R Lower Spacer, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are supplied here as a ten-piece set for the Lamborghini Gallardo, with grey 14mm top adapters and a 14mm lower O-ring carried on the lower spacer Injector Dynamics developed for the Nissan GT-R. Ten injectors at 1065cc/min apiece is a lot of fuel, and it only earns its place on a Gallardo with twin turbochargers, a supercharger or an ethanol conversion. A factory-power car will run on them after calibration but gains nothing. Built with Bosch Motorsport, the 1050 holds stable operation to 10 bar of differential pressure.

Configuration

The R35 code in the part number refers to the lower spacer, which sets the injector at the correct height in the manifold. Injector Dynamics uses the same spacer arrangement on its GT-R sets, and lists this ten-injector version for the 2004 to 2013 Gallardo.

Features

Stronger magnetic circuit that keeps operation stable up to 10 bar differential pressure
Revised internal flow path adds about five percent over the ID1000 without giving up low-flow control
Replaceable inlet filter for service life on less than perfect fuel
GT-R lower spacer and 14mm lower O-ring fitted for correct seating height

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm O-ring with GT-R lower spacer

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and GT-R lower spacers fitted (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Lamborghini Gallardo: 2004-2013

Notes

The connector is USCAR; plug-and-play adapters for Denso, EV1, OBD2 and 2012+ Honda wiring are sold separately, and the Denso type is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The lower spacer is part of the fitment; install the injectors with the spacers in place
The engine must be recalibrated for these injectors, using the published Injector Dynamics data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
