Will this set fit an LS2 or LS1?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the LS2 for a 48mm injector with a 15mm lower O-ring, and the LS1 and LS6 for a 60mm injector. This 34mm set is listed for the LS3, LS7, LS9, LSA, L76, L92 and L99, so confirm the engine code before ordering.

Are the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors too big for a stock LS3?

Yes, for a stock LS3. The ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors flow 1065cc per minute each at 3 bar, well beyond what an unmodified engine needs. They make sense on a supercharged or turbocharged LS, or an E85 conversion, where the factory injectors no longer keep up.

Why the orange 15mm lower O-ring?

It matches the lower injector bore that Injector Dynamics specifies for these GM engines. The 34mm body carries a 14mm O-ring directly at the top with no adapter, and the larger 15mm seal at the bottom, so each end gets the correct seal.

What does my tuner need to set up an LS engine on these injectors?

The Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1050-XDS. It describes flow rate, offset against voltage and short pulse behavior, which the engine management needs to meter fuel accurately. With that data loaded, idle and part throttle on an LS engine can be set up to behave much like stock.

How long is the warranty on the LS set?

One year from purchase, covering manufacturer defects. The cover depends on running the correct fuel through proper filtration, so a fresh fuel filter belongs in the installation. Single replacements for a matched set of eight LS injectors are handled by Injector Dynamics, which also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona for injectors that have seen service.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Rings, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-piece set carry the 15mm orange lower O-ring that Injector Dynamics specifies for GM’s LS3, LS7, LS9 and LSA engines, along with the L76, L92 and L99. That covers cars from the C6 Corvette and the 2010-2015 Camaro to the CTS-V, Pontiac G8 and Holden Commodore W427. On a stock LS3 they are oversized. They suit a supercharged LSA or LS9 pushed past factory boost, a boosted LS3, or an E85 conversion, where 1065cc/min per injector leaves room in the calibration.

Configuration

Family 1050, a 34mm body, 14mm top, 15mm lower and eight injectors. Older LS engines take a different length: Injector Dynamics lists the LS2 for a 48mm body and the LS1 and LS6 for a 60mm body.

Features

Corrosion-resistant internals rated for gasoline, ethanol and methanol
Stronger magnetic circuit for stable operation to 10 bar
Low-flow control kept from the ID1000 for a factory-like idle
Eight injectors flow matched as a set

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: No adapter; 14mm O-ring on the injector body
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 15mm lower O-rings (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Cadillac CTS-V: 2009-2014 | LSA
Chevrolet Camaro: 2010-2015 | LS3
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: LSA
Chevrolet Corvette: C6, C6 Z06 with LS7, C6 ZR1 with LS9
Chevrolet engines: LS3, LS7, L76, L92, L99
Holden Commodore: W427, E-Series HSV
Pontiac G8: GT, GXP

Notes

LS2, LS1 and LS6 engines take different injector lengths and are not covered by this set
Connectors are USCAR, and adapters for Denso, EV1, Honda OBD2 and 2012-on Honda plugs are sold separately, with the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter available for Denso wiring
Fueling will be wrong until the calibration is updated with the Injector Dynamics data for these injectors

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
