Does this set fit a Supra with the factory fuel rail?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this 34mm set for the 1993 to 1998 Supra 2JZ-GTE only when it runs a Radium fuel rail. For the factory rail it lists 60mm injectors with either an 11mm or a 14mm top, so check which rail and injectors are on the engine first.

Which other engines use this configuration?

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm top and lower O-rings for the BMW S58, the Ford Raptor from 2017 and the 2009 to 2012 Hyundai Genesis V6, as well as the Radium rail Supra. Match the length and both seals to the injectors you remove.

Is the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors set a good choice for E85?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the 1050 for all known fuels, and its corrosion resistant internals are built for long term ethanol and methanol use. Because E85 needs more fuel volume than gasoline, injector headroom matters on an ethanol build, and the low flow control keeps cold starts and idle manageable.

How does my tuner set these injectors up on a tuned six?

By entering the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1050-XDS into the engine management. That data covers flow rate, offset at different voltages and the short pulse region, and loading it is what lets a tuned six idle cleanly on injectors larger than stock. Plan the tune for the same visit as the installation.

What happens if one of the 34mm injectors turns out faulty?

Injector Dynamics warrants its injectors against manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, subject to correct fuel and proper filtration. A matched replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics so all six 34mm injectors stay balanced. For injectors with miles on them, the company runs a cleaning, inspection and flow test service in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in a set of six cover a mixed list of six-cylinder engines, from the BMW S58 and the 2017-on Ford Raptor to the 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis V6 and the 2JZ-GTE Supra running a Radium fuel rail. The short 34mm body seats 14mm O-rings directly at both ends, so there is no top adapter to fit. Rated at 1065cc/min on gasoline and up to 10 bar of differential pressure, the set gives a tuned six room to move to E85 or more boost while keeping the low-flow control needed for idle. An engine at factory power is fine on its stock injectors.

Configuration

The part number breaks down as family 1050, a 34mm body, a 14mm top, a 14mm lower and six injectors.

Features

Built with Bosch Motorsport, with corrosion-resistant internals
Rated for gasoline, ethanol, methanol and every other known fuel
About five percent more flow than the ID1000 without giving up low-flow control
Six injectors flow matched, each with a replaceable inlet filter

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: No adapter; 14mm O-ring on the injector body
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW: S58
Ford Raptor: 2017+
Hyundai Genesis: 2009-2012 | V6
Toyota Supra Turbo: 1993-1998 | 2JZ-GTE with Radium fuel rail

Notes

On the 1993-1998 Supra 2JZ-GTE this set is listed for the Radium fuel rail; Supras on the factory rail use a different Injector Dynamics configuration
USCAR connectors are fitted; engines wired with Denso, EV1 or OBD2 plugs need Injector Dynamics plug-and-play adapters, sold separately; for Denso wiring see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
