The HPS Post-MAF Air Intake Tube Kit for Lexus GS350, IS300, IS350, RC300, and RC350 F Sport replaces the corrugated factory rubber tube between the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body with a 3-1/4 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube. Lexus molds that section in rubber with ribs and steps that break up airflow at the point the 2GR responds to most, and it softens as it ages. The HPS piece holds a constant bore from end to end, sheds underhood heat instead of storing it, and bolts in against the factory airbox and sensor position. One part number covers five F Sport models across more than a decade of production.

Construction

Mandrel bending keeps wall thickness and internal diameter constant through every curve, where press-bent tubing crushes and necks down at the bend. Aluminum will not soften, collapse, or split with age the way the factory rubber tube eventually does, and it pulls heat out of the charge rather than soaking it in. Each tube is finished in black, blue, red, or polished and ships with high-temperature reinforced silicone couplers and 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps.
