Lightweight Pressure Plate & Redesigned Diaphragm Spring

• High-capacity clutches typically come with a heavy pedal feel, but HKS employs a diaphragm spring design to achieve a clutch that is not only manageable on the street but also offers a positive, precise feel suitable for circuit driving. The pressure plate is crafted from high-strength forged aluminum.

8.5″ MG Composite Disc with Damper

• A newly developed 8.5-inch disc supports high torque levels, while the addition of a damper reduces gear noise and protects the powertrain from sudden shocks and potential damage. With a stable friction coefficient, the clutch minimizes judder, making it easier to use.

Accurate Disengagement & Friction / Wear Balance Form Lifting Plate

• Lifting plates are attached to the center plate to ensure the clutch disc stays centered when disengaged, extending the life of the clutch disc and reducing the noise often associated with multi-plate clutches.

Pivot Ring for Superior Semi Engaged Clutch Feel

• A low-strength, ring-shaped spring on the pressure plate (pivot ring) extends the clutch’s semi-engaged zone, providing a smoother driving experience typically lacking in high-capacity clutches.

Lightweight Flywheel for Improved Response

• HKS has calculated and tested the ideal flywheel weight for each vehicle, balancing improved response with maintaining comfort. Overall, the kit is lighter than the stock clutch, optimizing vehicle performance without sacrificing drivability.
