• HKS has been focusing on utilizing “single tube” technology since beginning development on suspension. Single tube is the natural choice for HKS because high performance of the single tube has been proven through use by many racing and luxury cars. Optimum dampening force, stability and structural rigidity, responsive and reactive setup and superior ride comfort under many different road conditions are all made possible through the use of single tube dampers

Natural “G” Based on Dynamics

• Maintaining the stock (genuine) design structure. Adjustable suspension has the advantage of changing vehicle height to suit an owner’s preference. However, the height adjustment range and stroke length are difficult to maintain. The stock shape type suspension allows more stroke for precise settings; premium ride quality under various road conditions is guaranteed.
• By utilizing the stock suspension structure, spring length can be maintained whilst being able to cancel the bending force applied during suspension stroke compared to coilover type designs. This allows full utilization of the spring and damper’s performance. In order to achieve both a high quality ride and appropriate low stance, it is natural from the perspective of chassis dynamics to maintain the design structure of the stock damper.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
