HKS Full Carbon Chassis Brace Set for MK5 Toyota Supra

The new HKS Carbon Brace jointly designed with Graphite Design, the No. 1 golf carbon shaft company, improves driving performance and ride comfort, while giving a luxurious feel. Legendary driver Max Orido collaborated on this project, assisting in both design and track testing.

Manufactured with high quality Japanese-made carbon material, the HKS Carbon Brace features a high-strength and moderately flexible carbon shaft, which is also used in golf clubs. The HKS Carbon Brace utilizes the unique “Flex” to help improve rigidity, without risking ride quality.

The HKS CARBON BRACE for GR SUPRA is not just a reinforcement part to increase the rigidity.
Typical braces are made of aluminum or other metal materials and are reinforced to increase the rigidity of the vehicle, but there is a risk that the increased rigidity will worsen the quality of the ride.
In order to solve these issues, HKS, in collaboration with Graphite Design, the No. 1 company in the use of golf carbon shafts by tour pros, has adopted high-quality Japanese-made carbon materials to create a unique “Flex” in the brace that improves both driving performance and ride comfort.
Other brands’ products do not take matching with the interior into consideration, and some of them may give the impression that they were fitted after the fact. This product has one more mounting point than other companies’ products, and an inner lid is provided to enable installation that matches the interior.
GR SUPRA 3.0L model (DB02) has a stock aluminum brace bar installed in the engine compartment, but other grades of GR SUPRA does not have a brace at the same section. Only the holes for installation are drilled. Also, the stock brace is made of aluminum pipe with both ends smashed, which ruins the atmosphere in the engine compartment. HKS CARBON BRACE is designed carefully for attractive looks when installed.

The brace bar is generally connected to the left and right side of the vehicle to increase rigidity, but the stock core support section is very strong and can ensure lateral rigidity, so HKS uses the stock equivalent installation to suppress negative elements other than just rigidity.
Also, for the rear, an aluminum rectangular pipe is installed as a reinforcement part as stock (all grades), but the strength of the installation part is poor and creaking noise is generated. This product increases the installation strength and suppresses creaking noise.
The end part, which is visible when the shaft is installed, is machined from aluminum to ensure rigidity and a high-quality finish that harmonizes with carbon shafts.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
