Will these canards fit my GT Mustang?

No. The APR Performance Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Canards are specific to the Dark Horse front bumper and do not fit the GT bumper. Confirm your exact Mustang trim before ordering.

What do the front bumper canards actually do?

They increase front downforce at high speeds, which stabilizes the car's chassis during hard cornering and increases traction for faster lap times.

What are the canards made from?

Pre-pregnated carbon fiber, manufactured for high strength and low weight, finished with UV-stable epoxy and clear-coat materials for resistance against fading.

Is mounting hardware included?

Yes, screws, nuts, and bolts are all included, so there's nothing extra to source for installation.

Which Mustang does this fit?

The S650 Dark Horse, model years 2024 and later. Confirm your exact trim and model year before ordering.

Is this available right now?

Description

APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing for S550 Ford Mustang

The APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing is a high-performance aerodynamics component designed to optimize the aerodynamic balance of performance vehicles, primarily in motorsport and track applications. Engineered for high-efficiency downforce generation with minimal drag, the APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing is tailored for cars seeking improved cornering, braking stability, and high-speed balance.

Construction

The APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing is built from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheet for a high strength-to-weight ratio. It is autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds, which gives optimal material density and resistance to heat and stress-induced deformation. Carbon fiber’s natural rigidity prevents flexing at high speeds, so aerodynamic performance stays consistent under heavy loads.

Features

Coupe fitment only, does not fit the convertible
Fully adjustable angle of attack from 0° to 15° for tuning downforce and drag to track conditions
Airfoil shaped through CFD for high-efficiency downforce with minimal drag
Cambered design creates an effective pressure differential across the upper and lower surfaces, keeping airflow attached and limiting flow separation at speed
APR quotes an 11 to 1 downforce-to-drag ratio for the wing
Higher angles increase rear tire load for cornering and braking, while lower angles reduce drag for straight-line speed
Adjustable risers in 10mm 6061 billet aluminum allow fine-tuning of wing height and position
Mid-sized wing, a balance of downforce and drag between smaller and larger wings such as the GTC-500
Optional carbon fiber factory spoiler center cover
Optional Gurney flap available

Specifications

Span: 60.5″ (1520mm)

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing fit the Mustang convertible? No. This wing is designed for coupes only and does not fit the convertible. Confirm your body style before ordering the APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing.
How adjustable is the APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing? The angle of attack adjusts from 0° to 15°. Higher angles increase downforce for cornering and braking, while lower angles reduce drag for better straight-line speed. The risers also allow wing height and position to be adjusted.
What is the wing made from? Pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheet, autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds for high density, durability, and resistance to heat and stress-induced deformation. The risers are 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum.
What is the factory spoiler center cover option? An optional carbon fiber cover for the center section of the factory spoiler. Choose with or without it when ordering the APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing.
What does the Gurney flap do, and is it included? A Gurney flap is a small lip on the trailing edge of the airfoil that adds downforce and reduces flow separation. It is an optional extra, 1/2″ (12.7mm) tall, attached with 3M VHB double-sided tape. Choose Yes or No for the Gurney flap when ordering.
Which Mustang does this fit? The S550 coupe, model years 2015 through 2017, including the Shelby GT350. Confirm your exact model year and trim before ordering the APR Performance GTC-200 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. Please review the full Terms & Conditions here.

BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
