Garrett’s PowerMax MGT1446Z Turbo Kit replaces both turbochargers on the 3.0L VR30DDTT in the 2016-2024 Infiniti Q50 and 2017-2022 Q60 with direct-fit Garrett units that keep the factory footprint. Garrett quotes 12 percent more compressor flow than the original turbos and a capability of up to 560 horsepower for the pair, measured from laboratory compressor flow testing. That is a measured step rather than a big-turbo conversion: it suits a tuned Red Sport or 3.0t car whose calibration is running out of factory turbo, and does little for a car that stays on its stock software.

Fit and Installation
