The new generation of Porsche’s flat-six turbocharged engines has undergone significant refinement, enhancing power and drive efficiency through advanced injection processes, turbocharger layout, and improved charge air cooling. This enhanced power is effectively managed by a newly engineered eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Fabspeed’s commitment to innovation aligns seamlessly with Porsche’s continuous advancements, prompting their analysis and unlocking of the new platform’s potential.

• Enhancing performance and sound in the latest Porsche models is a formidable task, considering the factory’s advanced exhaust options and strict emissions standards. However, with over 25 years of experience in creating top-tier performance products for Porsche, Fabspeed’s engineering team knew precisely where to focus their efforts to create seamless, high-performing products for the 992 model. Their objective is to maximize the potential of the Porsche 992 Carrera’s 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine by improving horsepower, torque, and overall driving characteristics, all while maintaining drivability and reliability. This is accomplished through a Performance ECU software upgrade that reprograms various sensor inputs, air/fuel ratios, and boost pressure (if applicable).

Notes

• The purchaser is responsible for covering the shipping expenses when sending an ECU to Fabspeed. Once received, Fabspeed will tune the ECU within 24-48 hours and return it using the same shipping method chosen by the purchaser during the initial shipment. For instance, if you sent the ECU via ground shipping, it will be returned using ground shipping, and if overnight shipping was used, the ECU will be shipped back via overnight as well.
• This is not a physical/shipped product.  This upgrade requires you to send us your ECU for re-programming. You will be emailed a download link with detailed instructions after adding this to your cart and checking out
• While a vehicle equipped with bolt-on upgrades will experience maximum gains as a result of the increased efficiency of the engine, great power gains can be made on a completely stock vehicle
• You must fill out and include a copy of the ECU Information form along with your ECU upon sending it in. Please contact us if you need to send the form in any other manner
• Fabspeed Motorsport saves your stock/factory ECU settings so they can convert or flash your ECU back to stock settings at any time for a small fee
• Special requests and tune file upgrades may be subject to additional fees
