The Porsche 958.2 Cayenne Turbo / Turbo S Valvetronic Exhaust System from Fabspeed’s collection offers an ideal balance, catering to enthusiasts who seek enjoyment both on the streets and on the track. With dual exhaust tones, this system delivers versatility without compromise—providing two distinct sound profiles from a single exhaust setup. The company employs top-notch valves sourced from Helical, known for their extensive expertise in high-volume OEM automotive applications. These valves boast standard features such as a highly durable pneumatic actuator, precise flat sealing faces within the valve, stiffening ribs, and high-temperature bearings at both ends of the butterfly spindle—an inclusion in Non-PSE model valvetronic exhausts. Conversely, PSE model valvetronic exhausts come equipped with electronically operated valves.

Valves Closed

• With the valves closed, the exhaust is directed through a perforated resonator pipe, facilitating air release and causing it to reverberate within the muffler. This configuration ensures a volume level akin to stock while enhancing the overall exhaust tone and reducing weight at the rear of the vehicle.

Valves Open

• Upon opening, the valves direct the exhaust along the path of least resistance, swiftly traversing a stainless steel straight pipe, bypassing the muffler, and exiting the vehicle. This unobstructed route facilitated by the valves is non-perforated, ensuring that the air has only one exit point: directly out of the vehicle.
