Is it hard to install, and does it require cutting?

The valve electronics are plug-and-play and retain the factory valve control, but installation does require minor trimming at the factory exhaust breakpoint, using the OEM dimple locations as a guide. Because of that and the car's packaging, most owners have it fitted by an experienced exhaust shop rather than installing it at home.

It mounts behind the factory emissions hardware, which stays in place, so it does not alter the car's catalytic converters or emissions equipment.
