Does the Fabspeed Secondary Race Pipe fit my 971 Panamera?

Yes, if it is the base 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 Panamera or Panamera 4 from 2017 to 2021. It installs in the secondary section as a direct bolt-on. It is made for the base V6, not the 4S, GTS, Turbo, or hybrid models, which use different engines and exhaust layouts.

How much power does it add?

Fabspeed rates it at 22 horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque, along with a weight saving of about 14 pounds. The straight-through design opens up flow through the restrictive secondary section of the factory exhaust, which is where the gains and the sharper throttle response come from.

How does it change the exhaust sound?

It adds a noticeably more aggressive, exotic note. The straight-through stainless pipe lets the 3.0-liter turbo V6 project more than the muted factory system, so the Panamera sounds sportier, with the most difference under hard acceleration.

No. It is intended for closed-course and off-road use and is not CARB-certified or EPA-certified. It is not sold for installation on a vehicle driven on public roads in California or other states that require emissions certification, and it is the buyer's responsibility to use it lawfully. For a street setup, the Fabspeed Primary Sport Cat Downpipe is 49-state compliant.

Will it set a check engine light?

On an OBD2 vehicle it can set a check engine light, because it opens up the secondary section. Pairing it with an engine tune or O2 sensor spacer is the recommended way to address the light and get the most from the added flow.

What is the Fabspeed Secondary Race Pipe made from?

It is fabricated from polished T304L stainless steel in a straight-through design, and it installs as a direct bolt-on in the secondary section of the factory exhaust. The stainless construction is lighter and more durable than the factory piece, and most owners have it fitted by an exhaust shop or Porsche specialist.

Fabspeed Secondary Race Pipe for 971 Porsche Panamera

Fabspeed’s Secondary Race Pipe for the 971 Porsche Panamera opens up the secondary section of the exhaust on the 3.0-liter turbo V6. Fabricated from polished T304L stainless steel as a straight-through pipe, it is built and finished in-house at Fabspeed’s Fort Washington, Pennsylvania facility, where every part is engineered and built under one roof. Compared to the factory system it flows far more freely and sheds weight, adding 22 horsepower and 16 lb-ft while trimming about 14 pounds, and it gives the Panamera a more aggressive, exotic exhaust note. For the owner who takes this car to closed-course and off-road events, it is a precise, lifetime-warrantied upgrade engineered specifically for the single-turbo V6.

Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
