Do the Fabspeed Resonator Bypass Pipes fit my 970 Panamera V6?

Yes. They fit all 2010 to 2016 Porsche Panamera and Panamera 4 models with the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6. They install in the mid-section in place of the factory mid-pipes and resonators, and they are made for the non-turbo V6, not the S, GTS, or Turbo models.

How loud do they make it?

They give the base Panamera a much rawer, louder V6 sound with a significant increase in volume. They are loud enough on their own that Fabspeed does not recommend pairing them with the Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust, because the combination becomes very loud.

Do they add power, and will they set a check engine light?

They improve flow and power through the rev range and save weight, and they keep the check engine light off because they are a mid-section upgrade that does not alter the catalysts. Fabspeed does not publish a single fixed horsepower figure, since the gain depends on the rest of the exhaust.

Will they drone inside the cabin?

Removing the resonators makes the exhaust noticeably louder and can introduce some drone at certain engine speeds, which is the trade for the rawer tone and added flow. If you want a milder result, run them with the factory muffler rather than a louder aftermarket exhaust.

How hard are they to install?

They install as a bolt-on with no welding, though minor cutting is required at the factory exhaust break point, using the dimple locations marked on the OEM components as a guide. Most owners have them fitted by an exhaust shop or Porsche specialist to keep the cut clean.

How do the Resonator Bypass Pipes fit into a full setup?

They are the mid-section, and they pair well with the Fabspeed XperTune Performance Software for the 970 Panamera V6 for more power. Because they are already very loud, Fabspeed suggests running them with the factory muffler rather than adding the Maxflo exhaust on top.

Description

Fabspeed Resonator Bypass Pipes for 970 Porsche Panamera V6

Fabspeed’s Resonator Bypass Pipes for the 970 Porsche Panamera V6 replace the factory mid-pipes and resonators with free-flowing stainless pipes that let the 3.6-liter V6 breathe. CNC mandrel-bent from 14 to 16 gauge T304 stainless steel, they are built and finished in-house at Fabspeed’s Fort Washington, Pennsylvania facility, where every part is engineered and built under one roof. By removing the restrictive factory resonators, they improve flow and power through the rev range and give the base Panamera a much rawer, louder V6 voice, all with no check engine light. For the owner who wants real presence from the base V6 with a simple bolt-on, they are a precise, lifetime-warrantied upgrade engineered specifically for the non-turbo Panamera.

These make the exhaust significantly louder, so Fabspeed does not recommend combining them with the Fabspeed Maxflo Exhaust, as the result becomes very loud
Minor cutting is required at the factory exhaust break point to fit the pipes, but no welding is needed (reference the dimple locations on the OEM components)
This product is not CARB-approved and is not sold for installation on vehicles registered in California or other states requiring CARB certification
Pair with the Fabspeed XperTune Performance Software for the 970 Panamera V6 (SKU FS.POR.970V6.ET) for more power

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
