By relocating the primary catalytic converter behind the rear axle, Fabspeed created true long-tube primaries and replaced the restrictive 700 cell ceramic cat with an HJS 200 cell tri-metallic sport catalyst for drastically improved power and a sharper, motorsport sound without triggering a CEL. The patented RENNKRAFT quick-release v-band interface lets owners swap between catted and cat-bypass sections in minutes for street or track use. A new bi-layer thermal shield rated to 2400F/1300C dramatically cuts radiant heat to nearby components like the rear shock body, while the system’s OEM-grade fit and modularity deliver a durable, future-proof upgrade for the GT4 RS.

Sound

• Fabspeed’s headers with sport catalysts let the GT3-derived GT4 RS powerplant fully breathe, turning performance and character up to eleven. With the factory muffler retained, the car delivers an aggressive, deeper tone, and volume can be dialed back by switching off PSE. Paired with Fabspeed’s Valvetronic X-Pipe, the system produces a ripping, high-pitched soundtrack while preserving on-demand quiet via the factory PSE button.

• Fabspeed’s system is the most powerful header upgrade available for the GT4 RS, delivering max gains of +48whp and +54ft-lb at 4700 rpm. Equivalent to roughly +53hp at the crank, peak power rises from 456 to 490whp, producing a dramatic, clearly felt increase in acceleration and midrange punch.
