By replacing the restrictive factory over axle pipes, one can effectively boost power, shed weight, and infuse a more aggressive GT3 engine tone into the vehicle. The design process commenced with 3D scanning the entire exhaust system using the CREAFORM 700 Handscan, enabling the creation of a precise Solidworks 3D model. Subsequently, the exhaust and fixtures were meticulously crafted based on this model to ensure a perfect fit to OEM standards. At Fabspeed USA, the tubing is then mandrel bent in-house on a UNISON limited CNC aerospace electric tube bender, utilizing T304 stainless steel tubing that boasts a 40% increase in size compared to factory specifications, facilitating maximum flow. Additionally, the heat shielding features a stainless steel shell and a ceramic fiber core capable of withstanding continuous temperatures of up to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring exceptional insulation effectiveness.

• In an exhaust system that remains stock with no tune, a significant increase of 30hp at 4750rpm and 34ft/lbs of torque at 4750rpm was achieved. This represents a substantial gain of 33hp at the crankshaft. Additionally, peak horsepower surged from the baseline of 456whp to 474whp, while torque escalated from 330ft/lbs to 341ft/lbs.

Notes

• All Fabspeed products are expected to ship within one week of order, though timelines are often much quicker
• After testing with less heat shielding Fabspeed saw no difference in suspension damper temperatures. Thus they may come with less heat-shielding than pictured or use hose clamps instead of welded on heat shielding. this will not affect performance
