The replacement of the factory equipment with competition links maximizes flow, performance, and sound. Included heat blankets feature a 13mm thick ceramic fiber insulation, rated to withstand temperatures up to 1800 degrees. A stainless steel mesh overliner makes direct contact with the downpipes, while the basalt fabric exterior is sewn with stainless steel mesh covering all edges. High-quality stainless steel spring fasteners ensure the longevity of the product. These competition links significantly increase the loudness of the McLaren, with an expected increase in turbo whistle, pops, crackles on deceleration, and aggressive snaps on upshift, contributing to a more exhilarating driving experience.
