Description

Eventuri V2 Black Carbon Intake System for G8X BMW M2 / M3 / M4

Eventuri introduces a revised G8X intake engineered for seamless fitment with the CSL strut brace. Developed through intensive R&D, the system surpasses the stock M2 / M3 / M4 setup and is future-proofed for builds well beyond 1000 hp. From air-boxes to turbo inlets, every stage is redesigned to cut pressure loss, raise mass airflow, and keep inlet temperatures low. Two custom filters offering a 40% larger filtration area than stock sit within Eventuri’s patented Venturi housings to deliver a smooth, accelerated feed to the turbos. The turbo inlets themselves are up to 160% larger in cross-section than stock and feature an advanced dimpled inner surface that creates a boundary “cushion” of air, reducing wall friction and pressure drop. With lower intake resistance, the turbos require less waste-gate duty cycle, translating to improved overall performance.

Filter Housing Assemblies

The filter housings integrate Eventuri’s second-generation bespoke filters, aluminum inlet cowls, and stainless steel brackets. A carbon pod encloses the reverse-mounted element and shapes airflow directly into the tube section that connects to the turbo inlets. Unlike the OEM air box where air changes direction twice through a panel filter—this design admits air at the front of the housing and guides it into the tube without abrupt turns. The result is a shorter, smoother path from filter to turbo, allowing the turbochargers to operate with reduced drag.

Bespoke Cone Filter

To maximize flow, Eventuri developed a new filter element that exploits the available engine-bay volume. Measuring 192 mm (7.6″) in diameter, the element when paired with a housing featuring a 4″ opening—has been flow tested to deliver up to 900 CFM at 28″ H₂O. The dry, ISO-tested filtration medium meets OEM-level standards, while Eventuri’s signature internal flow cones support the Venturi housing principle for efficient, accelerated airflow.

Patented Technology

Eventuri’s patented filter housing tapers with a smooth reduction in cross-section as it envelopes the element and transitions into the tubing. This geometry induces the Venturi effect accelerating airflow while preserving laminar conditions functioning like an oversized velocity stack. Paired with Eventuri’s bespoke filters, the housing promotes an even velocity profile at exit for efficient, stable delivery to the inlet tract. Turbo Inlets

Eventuri enlarges both turbo inlets to reduce intake resistance and quicken spool. While improvements on a stock vehicle may be modest, the benefits scale with elevated boost targets on higher-power builds. Beyond increased size, Eventuri applies an optimized dimpled inner surface developed through extensive R&D and CFD analysis. This geometry lowers frictional pressure losses versus a smooth bore by creating a thin air cushion along the wall, allowing core airflow to slip with reduced drag and maintain a more uniform velocity profile. The result is higher flow velocity under equivalent conditions and stronger performance as power demands rise.

Carbon Ducts

Eventuri mates each filter housing to pre-preg carbon ducts that channel cold air from the factory entry points behind the headlamps. The carbon construction blocks engine-bay heat more effectively than non-airtight heat shields. Precision details including machined mounts indexing to the OEM air box locations and laser-cut bracketry ensure secure, OE-level fitment and durability.

Carbon Main Tube

Eventuri’s carbon replacement for the OEM tube employs a smoother internal profile and increased volume, starting with a 4″ internal diameter at the filter and sustaining it before a controlled taper into the turbo inlet. Integrated, molded brackets secure the tube in a fixed position for stable, OE-quality fitment.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
