Eventuri V2 Black Carbon Intake System W205 Mercedes-AMG C63 & C63S

Eventuri’s Mercedes W205 C63S AMG intake is the result of extensive development focused on three objectives: increasing flow, reducing intake temperatures, and maintaining smooth airflow. By maximizing the limited engine bay space, the system achieves a 39% flow increase over stock. A fully sealed architecture keeps hot engine bay air out, which is critical in proximity to the turbos. Custom rounded panel filters and organically contoured ducting remove sharp corners to preserve laminar flow, while smooth transitions from filter to turbo inlet minimize turbulence so the turbos operate more efficiently. With these goals met, the W205 C63S intake enables the turbos to build boost with less effort, improving throttle response and delivering genuine power gains that scale with higher states of tune. To support the range of available turbo upgrades, Eventuri offers two outlet configurations: 61 mm ID for stock and hybrid turbos, and 3″ ID for larger aftermarket units.

AIRBOX ASSEMBLIES

• Eventuri’s airbox assemblies comprise upper and lower sections divided by custom panel filters, each shaped to maximize internal volume while preserving a smooth, direct path to the turbos. The primary challenge—expanding capacity within the tightly packaged C63S engine bay—was solved by increasing overall airbox height, with the most substantial gain achieved via enlarged upper lids. The result is a marked volume increase alongside a cleaner, less restrictive airflow route compared with the OEM airboxes.

BESPOKE PANEL FILTERS

• Eventuri specifies custom panel filters using a double-layer, ISO 5011–tested non-woven mesh. The dry medium requires no oil, protecting sensitive flow sensors. A rounded outer profile replaces traditional sharp-cornered rectangles, enabling a smoother airbox contour that minimizes turbulence and promotes stable airflow.

CNC MACHINED FILTER FLANGES

• Eventuri emphasizes constant, reliable sealing of the panel filters within the airboxes. Because prepreg carbon fiber lacks the tight tolerances of precision-machined parts, Eventuri engineers CNC-machined, black-anodized aluminum flanges from single billets for the filter interface. Mounted inside the carbon airboxes, these flanges cradle the filters and provide an accurate seal against their rubber profiles for consistent, leak-free operation.

CARBON FRONT DUCTS

• Eventuri’s latest revision replaces the previous EPDM front ducts with carbon fiber units that connect to the airboxes via custom EPDM couplers. Each carbon duct is sculpted to provide a smooth transition from the oval air-entry apertures in the slam panel to the airboxes, maintaining maximal internal volume for reduced restriction and stable airflow.
