Eventuri’s E9X M3 carbon ducts serve as a direct replacement for the OEM plastic ducts, adding a sophisticated finishing touch to the engine bay. Constructed using prepreg carbon, these ducts seamlessly integrate with the rest of their E9X M3 lineup, adhering to the ultimate OEM+ theme. Additionally, the flexible joining piece between the ducts and the airbox has been replaced with an EPDM coupler, prominently featuring the raised V logo. During the development phase, the idea of adding scoops to the front duct was considered; however, after thorough analysis, it was determined that there would be no performance benefit due to the minimal opening between the ducts and the airbox, leading to the decision against incorporating scoops. This design choice also ensures that the grill openings remain unobstructed, optimizing airflow to the radiator. Eventuri offers these carbon ducts in both gloss and matte finishes to complement their optional carbon plenum, intake, and airbox lid.
