Eventuri’s F90 M5 Turbo Inlets are engineered to optimize the airflow path from the intake to the turbos. By maintaining a larger internal diameter all the way to the compressor inlets rather than tapering immediately like the OEM pieces they reduce restriction at higher boost levels and help the turbos reach peak boost sooner. The geometry is carefully contoured for the smoothest possible transition, minimizing pressure drop across the system. During development, oversized variants were evaluated along with a reworked intake connection but testing showed no additional benefit. The final design therefore delivers the best performance while retaining full compatibility with Eventuri’s existing F90 M5 intake, requiring no modifications. Constructed from high-temperature prepreg carbon fiber and assembled with purpose-built hardware, each inlet meets Eventuri’s exacting standards.

Comparisons

• Eventuri attributes the performance gains to a less restrictive flow path that enables the turbos to achieve peak boost earlier in the rev range. Compared with the OEM inlets—which taper immediately after the intake connection—Eventuri’s design maintains a larger diameter and transitions to the stock turbo size via an internal radius on the machined flanges. This preserves higher volume while sustaining a smooth, controlled airflow. By contrast, oversized prototypes required a sharper reduction to meet the turbo inlets, introducing unwanted flow constraints; the final geometry avoids this compromise.
