The 4.0TFSI V8 EA825 intake has been updated to accommodate the 2025 facelift Cayenne Turbo variants. Each component, including the redesigned lid, is engineered to allow the twin-turbo V8 to draw in air with reduced drag, delivering noticeable improvements in power delivery. The factory airbox lid restricts the size of the flow collector feeding the inlets from the filters. To address this, the central section of the lid has been raised, enabling the use of a larger flow collector and oversized cone filters. This design eliminates the inherent restriction, distinguishing this intake from competitors who rely on the stock lid and must retain smaller collectors and limited filtration media. The turbo inlets feature up to a 43% increase in cross-sectional area compared to stock, optimized for maximum volume. The added volume enhances turbo responsiveness, resulting in a clear improvement in throttle response.
