The 4.0TFSI V8 EA825 intake has been updated to accommodate the 2025 facelift Cayenne Turbo variants. Each component, including the redesigned lid, is engineered to allow the twin-turbo V8 to draw in air with reduced drag, delivering noticeable improvements in power delivery. The factory airbox lid restricts the size of the flow collector feeding the inlets from the filters. To address this, the central section of the lid has been raised, enabling the use of a larger flow collector and oversized cone filters. This design eliminates the inherent restriction, distinguishing this intake from competitors who rely on the stock lid and must retain smaller collectors and limited filtration media. The turbo inlets feature up to a 43% increase in cross-sectional area compared to stock, optimized for maximum volume. The added volume enhances turbo responsiveness, resulting in a clear improvement in throttle response.

Enlarged Airbox Lid

• The primary challenge in increasing the overall intake volume was the factory airbox lid. The OEM design provides only a shallow opening for the flow collector and limits the size of the filtration media. By incorporating a raised central section, the redesigned lid creates space for a larger flow collector and bigger filters. Constructed from prepreg carbon, the lid retains all factory mounting points for a precise fit.

Carbon Flow Collectors

• The flow collector is responsible for channeling airflow from the filters to the turbo inlets. The factory collector is limited in size by the stock lid, but with that restriction removed, the redesigned version offers a significantly larger volume. This improvement also allows the use of high-flow cone filters with a greater total surface area for enhanced performance.

Turbo Inlets

• The primary restriction in the factory system lies in the turbo inlets, which maintain a narrow cross-sectional area from the turbos to the airbox. The redesigned inlets expand in size immediately after the turbos, creating a larger volume of available airflow with minimal drag, resulting in improved throttle response. Additionally, the new inlets are engineered to accommodate engine movement without introducing turbulent airflow.
