Eventuri Carbon Intake for C8 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (Coupe & HTC)

The Eventuri Chevrolet Corvette C8 ZR1 Black Carbon Intake System is a ground-up re-engineering of the LT7 intake architecture, developed through CFD analysis, dyno validation, and iterative prototyping to address the airflow limitations built into the OEM design. The result is a fully carbon fiber intake system that significantly increases volumetric efficiency and turbocharger response, delivering mid-range gains of up to 110whp and 108ft-lb on a stock C8 ZR1. Available in two versions; one for the Coupe and one for the Hard-Top Convertible, with body-style-specific trunk panel integration in each.

One Housing, Two Airflow Paths, Zero Compromise

  • At the heart of the system is Eventuri’s patented double Venturi filter housing, which pulls two separate airflow paths into a single high-volume chamber. As air moves through the housing, the cross-sectional area gradually narrows, building velocity while keeping the flow smooth and laminar. The result is the same principle behind a velocity stack; air reaches each turbocharger quickly, cleanly, and with minimal drag or turbulence along the way.

Bigger Tubes, Less Restriction, More Response

  • The factory turbo inlet tubes are one of the most significant choke points in the OEM intake path. Eventuri addressed this directly by redesigning the tubes with a 30% increase in internal volume and a smoother, more progressive curvature that keeps the cross-sectional area consistent from entry to exit. Less restriction through the tubes means the turbochargers build boost more efficiently, with the biggest difference felt under load and through the mid-range where the stock tubes fall shortest.

Cold Air In, Heat Soak Out

  • Carbon fiber inlet ducts pull ambient air straight from the side vents and feed it directly into the intake system, keeping engine bay heat out of the equation entirely. A neoprene gasket and multi-point mounting system seal the ducts to the filter housing, while sealed inlet flanges and flexible hose connections lock the rest of the path down. The outcome is a system that delivers a consistent supply of cold, dense air regardless of how hard the car is being driven or how hot the engine bay gets.

See the System, Keep the Storage

  • The factory trunk panel was redesigned in clear polycarbonate to make room for the increased intake volume without sacrificing the Coupe’s removable roof storage functionality. The transparent panel keeps everything fully operational while putting the intake system on full display, turning what is normally a hidden component into one of the more striking visual details in the engine bay.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What power gains does the Eventuri C8 ZR1 intake system produce? On a stock Chevrolet Corvette C8 ZR1, the Eventuri intake system produced mid-range gains of up to 110whp and 108ft-lb at approximately 5300 RPM, and peak gains of 36whp and 101ft-lb. Dyno testing was conducted in a controlled environment using stabilized baseline temperatures, with repeated post-installation runs under identical conditions.
  • What is the difference between the Coupe and Hard-Top Convertible versions? Both versions use the same intake architecture, Venturi housing, turbo tubes, inlet ducts, and filter system. The difference is the clear polycarbonate trunk panel included with each; the Coupe version is designed to maintain the removable roof storage function of the Coupe, while the HTC version accommodates the Hard-Top Convertible roof system. The two trunk panels are not interchangeable, which is why confirming body style before ordering is essential. Coupe SKU: EVE-ZR1VT-CF-INT. HTC SKU: EVE-ZR1HTC-CF-INT.
  • What is the patented Venturi housing and how does it work? The Eventuri patented double Venturi filter housing merges two airflow paths into a single centralized high-volume chamber. As air moves through the housing, the gradually reducing cross-sectional area accelerates airflow velocity while maintaining laminar, turbulence-free flow conditions. The principle is similar to a velocity stack; it delivers air to the turbochargers efficiently and with minimal drag, improving charge consistency and turbo response throughout the RPM range.
  • Why are the turbo inlet tubes enlarged by 30%? The factory turbo inlet tubes on the C8 ZR1 were identified through CFD analysis and dyno testing as a significant restriction point in the OEM intake path. Eventuri redesigned these components with a 30% increase in internal volume and more progressive curvature to maintain a consistent cross-sectional area throughout the flow path. The result is reduced pressure drop, lower restriction under load, and improved turbo efficiency, particularly in mid-range acceleration.
  • How does the system prevent heat soak? Carbon fiber inlet ducts channel ambient air directly from the side vents of the C8 ZR1 into the intake system, bypassing the heat of the engine bay entirely. These ducts are sealed to the filter housing using a neoprene gasket and a multi-point mounting system. Custom sealed inlet flanges and flexible hose connections maintain a consistent cold air supply under all driving conditions, preventing the temperature-driven power loss associated with unsealed or partially sealed intake systems.
  • Is this item returnable? No. The Eventuri C8 ZR1 intake system is not eligible for return. Warranty coverage and damage-in-transit support are fully provided, but the non-returnable policy applies regardless of the reason for return. Confirming the correct body style, Coupe or Hard-Top Convertible, before ordering is strongly recommended.

About Eventuri

Eventuri was founded by a team of engineers and enthusiasts with a background in Aeronautics and tuning all sharing a passion for cars and performance. After owning various intakes over many years for their own cars and being disappointed with the gains which seldom lived up to their claims they decided to take things into our own hands and rewrite the book. To set a new benchmark in intake design and technology, above all to engineer systems which provide real gains and then to publish genuine figures. Their systems are extensively developed using cutting edge design, testing and prototyping methods. With a focus on performance, each design undergoes CFD analysis and is then validated at the prototype stage through volumetric airflow, intake temperature and extensive dynamometer testing. They strive to publish all the development information to illustrate the depths they go to in bringing an intake from concept to reality. Only the best materials are selected for each component even down to the choice of fasteners and fixings in order to ensure that the quality of the end product is second to none. After many years of disappointment with the usual aftermarket intakes, they are proud to be raising the bar and creating intake systems which are setting a new standard and genuinely improve the performance of your vehicle

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.
Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
