Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for W177 / C118 Mercedes-AMG A 45 and CLA 45

Eventuri’s Mercedes-AMG M139 intake for the A45, CLA45, and GLA45 is engineered to provide the turbo with a smoother, more direct airflow path. By reducing restriction and drag, the turbo reaches target boost sooner in the rev range, improving responsiveness. The system is designed to achieve the highest feasible flow rate while controlling intake temperatures for a genuine net performance gain. The freer flow path also enhances induction acoustics, allowing turbo spool to be heard more distinctly for a more engaging driving experience.

Patented Venturi Filter Housing Assembly

• Eventuri’s M139 filter housing integrates a bespoke high-flow filter, an aluminum cowl, and a carbon pod. The carbon pod encloses the reverse-mounted filter and transitions airflow smoothly into the intake tubes. By progressively reducing cross-sectional area, the design induces a Venturi effect—accelerating airflow while preserving laminar conditions—functioning effectively as a large velocity stack. Carbon Fiber Intake Duct

• Eventuri’s duct channels cool ambient air from the slam panel to the filter housing, integrating within the OEM ductwork and tapering smoothly to the circular housing profile. To isolate the intake from engine-bay heat, a flexible rubber edging forms a compliant seal against the filter housing while accommodating engine movement. Strategic side cutouts promote airflow around the relocated ECU to mitigate heat soak. Maximized internal volume within the available engine-bay geometry ensures the filter housing draws with minimal restriction.

Laser Cut ECU Relocation Bracket

• To facilitate ECU relocation, Eventuri supplies a laser-cut stainless steel bracket engineered for strength and rigidity. The ECU mounts securely to this bracket, which fastens to the chassis using the factory threads from the OEM airbox mount. An additional bracket supports the filter housing, and a dedicated cover shields the top of the ECU to protect the wiring harnesses.

Eventuri was founded by a team of engineers and enthusiasts with a background in Aeronautics and tuning – all sharing a passion for cars and performance.
