Eventuri’s BMW G20 B48 intake is engineered to deliver a less restrictive airflow path while preserving low inlet temperatures. For turbocharged applications, heat and volume are critical: in the G20, the intake sits beside the exhaust manifold, causing rapid engine-bay heat soak. To keep IATs down, Eventuri employs a fully sealed air box, then overcomes the limitation of the single OEM feed by adding a secondary feed that draws from an additional opening into the wheel-arch area. The sealed air box integrates a heat shield with gold reflective treatment to reduce radiative heat from the manifold and is maximized in volume with a recess to accommodate strut braces. The factory convoluted tube is replaced with a smooth, larger carbon tube that begins at 111mm internal diameter and tapers progressively to the turbo inlet for an uninterrupted flow path. A custom high-flow dry filter, ISO-tested for filtration performance and sized with greater surface area than stock, completes the system to reduce restriction and support consistent, cool airflow to the turbo.
