Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for G0X BMW X5 / X6 / X7 M50i [EVE-X5M50-CF-INT]

Eventuri introduces the X5 G05 M50i intake an adaptation of the X5M system engineered, to reduce pressure loss, raise flow rate, and maintain low inlet temperatures. With the factory cold-air feeds positioned at the front and the turbo inlets facing the rear, the OEM airboxes force airflow through a 180° turn, creating restriction. Eventuri addresses this by adding an auxiliary cold-air feed from the scuttle panel, establishing a more direct path to the turbo inlets. The result is higher flow with stable IATs and a de-restricted induction soundtrack; with the intake openings oriented toward the cabin, turbo flutter and pressure-release notes become distinctly audible, enhancing driver engagement.

FILTER HOUSING ASSEMBLIES

• Eventuri’s filter housings combine bespoke Generation 2 filters with aluminum inlet cowls and stainless-steel brackets. A carbon pod encloses the reverse-mounted element and guides airflow smoothly to the OEM turbo inlets. Unlike the OEM airbox where air enters the base, makes two abrupt 90° turns through the panel filter and tube, Eventuri’s architecture provides a direct path from the front of the housing to the turbo inlet, minimizing direction changes and reducing drag for more efficient turbo operation.

BESPOKE CONE FILTER

• Eventuri maximizes available engine-bay volume with a purpose-sized filter element to achieve the highest possible flow rate. The dry filtration medium is ISO-tested to meet OEM-level filtration standards. Each filter incorporates Eventuri’s signature flow cones to support the Venturi housing principle and promote smooth, accelerated airflow.

CARBON TWIN AIR DUCTS

• Eventuri identifies the primary OEM restriction as the mismatch between the front-mounted air feeds and rear-facing turbo inlets. To resolve this, Eventuri’s air ducts add an upper opening and a secondary cold-air feed from the scuttle panel. Working in concert with the factory feeds, the dual-source design delivers a higher overall flow rate and a more direct, less tortuous path to the turbos.

EPDM REAR FEEDS

• Eventuri ensures a fully sealed system by coupling the carbon duct’s secondary inlets to EPDM feed tubes that route to the scuttle panel. With the hood closed, the scuttle area is isolated from engine-bay heat, supplying the intake with ambient air. A pre-cut center section of the OEM hood seal is included to accommodate the EPDM feeds for a precise, factory-quality installation.

CARBON ENGINE COVER

• Because the filter housings are maximized for volume, the OEM engine cover no longer fits. Eventuri provides a redesigned cover that tidies the bay and conceals engine hardware for a refined appearance. Intentional gaps between the cover and the intakes allow engine heat to dissipate rather than soak into the intake system.
