Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for F06 / F12 / F13 BMW M6

Eventuri’s F12 / F13 / F06 M6 intake system was developed through extensive dyno validation, high-speed testing, and flow optimization, and is engineered as a complete package from the front air scoops through the filter housings and into the turbo inlet tubes. The result is a highly efficient intake that reduces resistance to the turbos by providing a smooth, direct airflow path. At the core of the system is Eventuri’s Patent Pending carbon fiber housing, which creates an aerodynamically efficient route from the filter to the MAF tube. Rather than a generic cone filter with a heat shield, this housing is specifically shaped to induce a Venturi effect, accelerating airflow while maintaining stability. Carbon Intake Housing Assemblies

• Eventuri’s filter housings combine high-flow filters, aluminum inlet cowls, and carbon pods. Each carbon pod encloses a reverse-mounted filter and guides airflow smoothly into the intake tubes through a controlled reduction in cross-sectional area, invoking the Venturi effect to accelerate airflow while maintaining laminar conditions. Carbon Fiber Intake Tubes

• Eventuri crafts the intake tubes from 100% pre-preg carbon fiber, each featuring an integrated MAF sensor mount CNC-machined from aluminum. These tubes create a smooth, continuous path from the filter housings to the turbo inlets, replacing the stock corrugated flex sections that disturb airflow. The geometry is maintained as a true circular cross section even at the MAF boss to preserve optimal flow characteristics.

Carbon Fiber Air Scoops

• Eventuri identifies the front carbon scoops as critical in supplying the filters with a consistent cold-air feed. Engineered for maximum efficiency, the scoops are shaped to match the contours of the factory grilles and extend from the grille area all the way to the OEM duct openings. This continuous, curved path channels incoming airflow smoothly into the ducts, avoiding the turbulence created by typical aftermarket scoops that rely on flat faces perpendicular to the airstream. For the M6 application specifically, additional carbon scoop extensions link the scoops directly to the front grilles, ensuring uninterrupted flow. By delivering ambient air directly to the filter locations and working in conjunction with the system’s shielding the scoops help maintain low intake air temperatures rather than relying on basic heat shielding alone. Installation is straightforward: the scoops clip onto the existing strut brace and are then secured by the front grilles.

Shields / Flow Deflectors

• Eventuri positions the filter housings so that their openings sit within dedicated flow deflectors. These deflectors capture cold air delivered by the front scoops and displace hot air from around the filter entries. The region between the scoops and the deflectors is occupied by the OEM ducting, creating a continuous cold-air path into the intake.
