The Audi RS5 / RS4 Eventuri intake was developed with feedback and support from RS5 enthusiasts. Eventuri completely re-engineered the inlet system, from the ducts to the filters and inlet tubes. The restrictive stock airboxes and duct feeds were replaced with a highly efficient, fully sealed system that features smooth transitions to ensure full, laminar airflow. This redesign delivers industry-leading performance gains, improved sound, and enhanced aesthetics for the platform. The system’s components work together to elevate the driving experience while showcasing a visually striking combination of form and function. For a fully cohesive look, Eventuri also offers matching carbon engine covers and slam panel covers to complete the engine bay.

The Eventuri Difference

• The RS5 / RS4 Eventuri intake system utilizes their patent-pending carbon fiber housings, designed to create an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filters to the throttle bodies. This is not just a simple cone filter with a heat shield; the system features a unique design that leverages the Venturi effect to optimize performance.

Carbon Intake Housing Assemblies

• The filter housings consist of high-flow filters, aluminum cowls, V-Band clamps, laser-cut brackets, and carbon pods. The carbon pods enclose the reverse-mounted filters and smoothly direct the airflow down to the intake tubes. This gradual reduction in cross-sectional area invokes the Venturi effect, where the airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions, functioning like a large velocity stack.

Carbon Intake Ducts

• The carbon ducts channel ambient air from the scoops to the filter housings, fitting seamlessly within the OEM ducting system. They transition smoothly into the circular shape of the filter housings. To ensure a proper seal against engine bay heat, the ducts feature flexible rubber edging that presses against the filter housings, creating a seal while allowing movement with the engine. These complex geometric pieces are a key component of Eventuri’s B8 design.

Carbon Intake Tubes

• The intake tubes are crafted from 100% prepreg carbon fiber and feature integrated CNC-machined aluminum breather tube inserts. These tubes ensure smooth airflow delivery to the throttle bodies, with no sharp bends, maintaining laminar flow from the filters to the exits.

Carbon Air Scoops

• The front carbon scoops are essential for directing ambient air to the ducts and filters. Designed with a constant bend radius, they efficiently channel incoming air to the duct openings. The scoops help keep inlet air temperatures as low as possible and accelerate the cooling of intake air temperatures (IATs) after heat soak during standstills.

Heat Shields

• The heat shields serve dual purposes: deflecting heat from the exhaust manifolds and providing a secure mounting surface for the housings. Made from laser-cut stainless steel, the shields offer a strong foundation for the housings. With a class-leading reflective material on the reverse side, the shields effectively block radiant heat from the exhaust manifolds, reducing heat soak on the carbon components.
