The Porsche GT3 RS intake system by Eventuri is engineered for superior efficiency, outperforming the standard OEM airbox with a more streamlined flow path to the engine. Leveraging Eventuri’s patented Venturi Housing concept, the system facilitates smoother airflow through the filters, significantly reducing drag. Additionally, an increase in intake volume enhances the system’s maximum flow capacity. The bespoke filters, each with a diameter of 192mm (7.5 inches) and a filtration surface area exceeding 110,000mm^2, optimize the use of available space. The intake maintains low air temperatures by featuring a sealed design and utilizing carbon fiber, known for its low thermal conductivity. This system not only delivers tangible performance improvements but also enhances throttle response. The Eventuri 991 GT3 RS intake comprises various components, each meticulously engineered for a specific function and crafted to the highest standards. Made from 100% pre-preg carbon fiber and devoid of fiberglass, the design ensures a smooth internal surface, facilitating even smoother airflow.

The Eventuri Difference

• The 991 GT3 RS Eventuri system features their patented carbon fiber housings that enhance aerodynamic airflow from the filter to the engine. This design transcends the typical cone filter with a heat shield by utilizing a unique setup that leverages the Venturi effect.

Patented Filter Housing

• The 991 GT3 RS Filter Housing includes two bespoke high-flow filters, aluminum cowls, laser-cut brackets, and the carbon pod itself. The carbon pod encases the reverse-mounted filters and efficiently directs airflow to the throttle body, smoothly reducing the cross-sectional area to accelerate airflow while maintaining laminar conditions, akin to a large velocity stack.

Bespoke Cone Filter

• To maximize airflow, Eventuri developed a filter element designed to utilize as much space as possible in the engine bay. The new filter, measuring 192mm or 7.6″ in diameter, can flow up to 900 CFM at 28″ H2O when tested with a housing featuring a 4″ opening. The filter medium is ISO tested to meet OEM filtration standards and is dry. The design includes Eventuri’s signature flow cones to enhance the function of the Venturi housing.

Carbon Ducts

• The carbon ducts channel ambient air from the side vents directly to the filter housing. To protect against engine bay heat, they attach to the filter housing at three points with a neoprene gasket to ensure an airtight seal. The ducts are designed to maximize internal volume within the constraints of the engine bay geometry, minimizing intake restriction.

Silicon Couplers

• The silicon coupler replaces the OEM flexible tube to the throttle body, designed with an internal step to match the OEM throttle body and ensure smooth airflow.
